Escaping the hustle and bustle of Dhaka for a while is something I always enjoy. This time, I decided to take a train from Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station to the newly built Mawa Railway Station. It was not just another train ride it was an opportunity to admire the beauty of Bangladesh from a different perspective and capture those wonderful moments through my camera.

I arrived at Kamalapur Railway Station a little before departure. The station was full of life, with passengers traveling for work, family visits, and leisure. After boarding the suburban train and finding a window seat, I felt excited about the journey ahead.

As the train slowly left the station, the busy city began to disappear behind me, making way for a completely different landscape.

One of the best parts of this journey was watching the scenery change outside the train window.The concrete buildings gradually gave way to lush green fields, peaceful rivers, open landscapes, and newly developed infrastructure. The cloudy sky added a dramatic touch to the surroundings, making every scene even more beautiful.

Throughout the journey, I tried my best to capture these wonderful moments with my camera. Although photographing from a moving train is never easy, I was fortunate to take several photos that truly reflect the beauty of the route.One of my favorite moments was seeing a cargo vessel anchored beside the river, surrounded by greenery, with the distant city skyline creating a perfect background.
The suburban train offered a simple yet comfortable travel experience.The classic brown seats, ceiling fans, large windows, and the refreshing natural breeze created a nostalgic atmosphere. Sometimes, a simple train journey like this becomes much more memorable than a luxurious trip.
Watching people, listening to the rhythm of the train, and enjoying the changing scenery made every minute worthwhile.

Finally, I arrived at Mawa Railway Station.The first thing that impressed me was its modern design and clean environment. The blue station building, spacious platforms, newly constructed railway tracks, and organized facilities clearly reflect the modernization of Bangladesh Railway.

As this is one of the country's newest railway stations, it provides passengers with a comfortable and pleasant travel experience. It is undoubtedly a beautiful destination for railway enthusiasts and travelers alike.Mawa is famous throughout Bangladesh for its delicious Hilsa (Ilish) fish.From Mawa Railway Station, visitors can easily reach Mawa Ferry Ghat, where numerous restaurants serve a wide variety of freshly cooked Hilsa dishes. The taste of these traditional meals is well-known across the country.

However, this blog is not about reviewing the food.
