The port city of Chittagong offers a variety of destinations for those who enjoy entertainment. One of the city's primary recreational hubs is 'Sea World,' located in Khulshi. It is essentially an extension of the 'Foy's Lake Amusement Park,' and the park provides its own boat service to transport visitors to Sea World.

The entry fee is 500 Taka (100 steem) per person. However, special offers are occasionally available, so it is advisable to check their website before your visit. It remains open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (though operating hours may vary slightly during the winter season). Additionally, there is a resort right next to Sea World where, for a set fee, you can stay and also enjoy the various attractions that Sea World has to offer.

At Upon arriving at Sea World by boat from Foy's Lake, the first things you will notice are the guidelines that must be followed to ensure an enjoyable visit. There are changing rooms available where you can change your clothes and pick up tubes for use on the various rides.

If you have any valuables, you can rent a locker by providing a refundable deposit of 200 Taka. Once you have changed, you are all set to enjoy the various rides at Sea World. A major highlight of the park is its diverse range of attractions, including a wave pool, various types of water slides, multi-slides, and water coasters.

Personally, I found the swimming pool designed for children to be the best feature; it is shallow, allowing kids to play safely and freely. Nevertheless, it is advised that children under the age of seven be supervised by a guardian while in the pool. Furthermore, to make the experience even more delightful for little ones, the pool area features sculptures of various animals. Additionally, starting from the afternoon, there are water fountains where you can sit and enjoy getting soaked.

Since Sea World is located next to Foy's Lake, you can enjoy a variety of thrilling rides while also taking in the surrounding lush greenery with your family. In the mechanical, fast-paced life of the city, finding such a green environment is truly rare. I would suggest avoiding weekends or public holidays if you want to experience smaller crowds. Also, keep in mind that extreme heat or rain might make it a bit difficult to fully enjoy the rides.

Another aspect I really appreciated is that you cannot smoke just anywhere near the rides; there are designated smoking zones provided for smokers.There are trash cans placed in various corners of SeaWorld for the disposal of litter.

The swimming pool area features sculptures of various animals, which makes it appealing to children. Furthermore, children particularly enjoy getting wet in the water fountains.

If you feel tired after a full day of fun, there are designated areas including benches where you can rest. You can also find relief from the heat by enjoying a variety of refreshments, ranging from soft drinks to tea. Additionally, for an extra charge, you can opt for a package that includes lunch and drinks along with your ticket.

Overall, I would recommend a visit to Sea World for nature lovers and those who enjoy thrilling rides. It is an excellent destination to spend quality time with your family while also enjoying a bit of nature.

If you take young children to SeaWorld as I did with my two sons make sure to keep them under your supervision at all times; do not let them wander off to play alone, as accidents could occur. Even though security personnel are always nearby, you should still remain vigilant.
