Last month, after attending the AERMI Award event in Banda Aceh, I had one more task before heading back home to Lhokseumawe. I needed to return a blazer that I had borrowed from a friend for the event. The night was already getting for isya prayer, and I was driving through the city with a tired body but a grateful heart after a meaningful day.
As I continued my journey, the sound of the Isya adhan echoed through the air. Like many travelers, I know that some of the most beautiful moments on the road happen unexpectedly. Hearing the call to prayer, I decided to stop at Masjid An-Nur, Ie Masen Kayee Adang. Lampineung.

From the outside, the mosque immediately caught my attention. Its modern architecture, elegant Islamic patterns, and warm lighting created a peaceful atmosphere. The front entrance looked welcoming and majestic at the same time. Even before stepping inside, I could already feel a sense of calm after a long day of activities. I Parked my car and came inside.

After performing wudu, I entered the prayer hall. The interior was equally impressive. Clean marble floors, beautiful chandeliers, well-maintained carpets, and a spacious prayer area made the mosque feel comfortable and serene. The atmosphere encouraged reflection, gratitude, and focus in worship.

Large chandeliers illuminated the room, while the marble floor reflected the soft lights above. The interior combined modern elements with traditional Islamic aesthetics, creating a place that felt both grand and comfortable.

What I appreciated most was the peaceful environment. Worshippers were quietly preparing for prayer, and the atmosphere encouraged reflection and gratitude. After spending hours attending events and traveling, standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow Muslims during the Isya prayer felt like the perfect way to end the day.

For travelers, finding a mosque that offers comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility is always a blessing. Masjid An-Nur provides all of these. The facilities are well maintained, the prayer area is spacious, and the overall environment makes worship more meaningful.

My stop at Masjid An-Nur was unplanned, but it became one of the most memorable moments of the journey. Sometimes, the road teaches us that rest is not only about stopping for food or coffee. True rest can also be found in a peaceful mosque, answering the call of Allah.
