Steemit Challenge – Season 34, Week 08 | Weekly Stats Report

in Steem POD Team • 14 days ago

Hi Steemit Community!

image.png

Under the Steemit team's new rules, the Steemit Challenge is running very well, with strong entries and significantly increased engagement.

I want to share the stats of these challenges, as they will give you a clear idea of how significantly they are growing. Previously, user-initiated challenges—selected by the Steemit team—were quite limited in scope and mostly focused on a single theme; consequently, while people did participate, they had very few options. Now, although the variety of options may be limited, engagement is higher. This is an excellent initiative, and I appreciate this move by the Steemit team.

Let's move on to the stats of the challenge.

📊 Posts Analytics Report for Tag: "s34challenge-wk8a", "s34challenge-wk8b"

📈 Posts Over Time:

The entries are fewer at the start of the challenge because people are not yet aware of it, but the challenge has had a good start: three entries were received in the first question on the first day, and in the second question, nine entries were received on the first day, after which the entries increased, and the total entries are 53 for the first challenge and 65 for the second challenge.

🏷️ Tag Distribution

As for the tags, naturally, the main tags have been used by everyone; additionally, the 'Steem-exclusive' tag has seen the highest usage. Since a large number of entries came from Venezuela, that tag has also been employed extensively. And a steemit tag was used a lot for this challenge.

📝 Word Count Distribution:

Because there is no word count limit in this challenge, we have to present the challenge according to our own standards, but if we talk about stats, people here are more likely to complete the challenge in 500 to 1,000 words because there are very few people who have submitted entries above a thousand and very few people who have submitted entries below 500.

At the end of the report, I would definitely like to keep this challenge going because it has increased engagement a lot here; there are only two challenges, and the number of comments is very high. The first challenge had only 53 entries but had 515 comments, and the second challenge had 65 entries but had 519 comments. Yes, it decreased from the previous week because it depends on the challenge topic, but the engagement looks great.

The next week has begun, and two challenges have been presented to you. Participate in them and keep the engagement going; the link to the challenge is provided below.

Numbers down significantly for week 8.

Do you think people are getting bored with the format?

It all depends on the topic, Sc01. For instance, in Venezuela, many people didn't have the money to go shopping or buy groceries; and regarding the challenge of improving Steemit, not everyone has an idea—and sometimes they don't know how to develop one.
Best regards.

Thank you for the feedback @vivigibelis.

It will be interesting to see how many people participate in this week's challenges.

it's a pleasure 🩷

Saludos

Yes, it decreased from the previous week because it depends on the challenge topic, but the engagement looks great.

As I already mentioned that it depends on challenge topic.

I had hoped for more entries in the grocery challenge—since everyone inevitably buys groceries for their home—but that didn't happen. I don't know why.

In second challenge users suggest a lot about new features whether they have a knowledge about development or not. That one is a bit difficult but users enjoy to suggest.

The result is that people are more inclined to promote challenges that come at zero cost. They save their pocket money for any such challenge or task.
