Dear Diary,

Me, my friend and her son

My day began at a rather unusual time. At around 4:00 AM, I had a cup of coffee with my nephew. He is a student and will be appearing for his university admission test in a few days. Because of his studies, he often stays awake at night and studies until late. So, while he was busy with his studies, we enjoyed a cup of coffee together. There was something special about having coffee together at such an early hour. Usually, everyone is asleep at that time, and the surroundings are wonderfully quiet.

After finishing my coffee, I went to the balcony and took some photographs. The peaceful atmosphere made the early morning moment even more enjoyable.

Bus stuck in the mud

Later in the afternoon, I went outside for a little outing. While we were passing through the road, I noticed a double-decker bus stuck in the mud. The bus was trying to move forward but was having difficulty because of the muddy road. The bus was actually a bus of my university. Seeing my university's double-decker bus in such a situation caught my attention, so I took a moment to observe it. Sometimes unexpected things like this become the most interesting part of an ordinary outing.

After that, we walked along the footpath for some time. There were several roadside shops selling colorful plastic toys on both sides of the road. The different shapes and colors of the toys made the surroundings look lively. We eventually reached the Central Shaheed Minar. We sat there for a while and spent some time talking. It was nice to take a short break after walking and simply enjoy the moment with good conversation. After spending some time there, we decided to go to the food court because we were feeling hungry.

Oven baked pasta

At the food court, we ordered a couple of food items that we thought would be served quickly. The shopkeeper told us that the meal box and oven-baked pasta could be served within a comparatively short time. Things did not quite go according to what we expected. Although the shopkeeper had assured us that the food would be served quickly, we ended up waiting for quite a long time. The meal box cost 150 BDT, while the oven-baked pasta cost 160 BDT. The waiting time was a little disappointing, especially because we had specifically chosen these items thinking they would take less time to prepare. My friend was with me. She was so bored.

After spending some time outside, we started our journey back home in the evening. On the way, I saw a small roadside van selling toys. I decided to buy a toy for my friend's son. The toy cost 100 BDT. It was just a small purchase, but I felt happy thinking that he might enjoy playing with it. I think little gifts become more meaningful when we buy them while thinking about someone we care about.

At the pharmacy where I bought some necessary medicines.

Before returning home, I also stopped at a pharmacy to buy some necessary medicines. It was one of the practical tasks I needed to complete that day.

Thanks everyone for reading my post.
