Delicious and delicious pitha recipe made from dates
"Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem"
This is @tammanna from #Bangladesh.
Friends, how are you all? I hope you are all doing well, and I am doing well. Alhamdulillah, today I have brought you a great recipe. Today's recipe is for tal bara. It is impossible to find a person in Bangladesh who does not eat tal bara during the month of Bhadra because every market is busy during the month of Bhadra, and in these markets, you can easily get tal at a low price. And how to bring it home, measure it, and make a palm tree- all the simple rules and regulations- but I will show you in my post today, so let's take a look.

Palm sugar, jaggery, oil, flour, rice flour
The Process of recipe
🟫 Step 01
🥤To make today's talwar bada, I first took two talwars, washed them thoroughly, and extracted enough juice from them.
🥤Then I will give a certain amount of rice powder.
🥤Then I'll add a little flour here so that the dough on my palm can be as soft as possible.
🥤Then add jaggery to taste, but sugar can be used here; it is better to keep the amount of sweetness a little less because dates contain enough sweetness.
🥤After all the ingredients are combined, I will take my time mixing everything well with my hands.
🥤Then my is full, and I will rest for 10 minutes.
🥤Then I will take a pan, add enough oil to it, and heat it well.
🥤Then I carefully add the dobo I made, a little at a time, about the size of a palm, into the oil.
🥤Then, fry the medium-sized pithas well.
🥤And look, when it turns a little red and crispy, my pitha is ready.
🥤And then I will take the pithas out on a plate with a tissue so that the excess oil can be absorbed.
🥤Then, remove the pithas to a plate and serve.

A wonderful dish. You have explained the entire process of making tal bara in the month of Bhadra in a very simple way. I found it very interesting to mix a little flour along with rice powder and let it rest for 10 minutes; this way, the bara will be crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Also, the decision to use jaggery instead of sugar to maintain the balance of sweetness brings a different variety in the taste. From extracting the juice of the talbar to frying it until it turns red, pouring oil, and serving it, every step has a touch of the current tradition of Bengal. 😊
