Today I will share with you one of the educational institutions of Rajshahi city, Rajshahi University. Rajshahi is known as the city of education, there are several schools and colleges in this city to further improve the quality of the education system.
Talented students from different parts of the country come to get admission in the advanced colleges and universities of Rajshahi city. Today I will share with you some important information about the university, which makes it different from all other educational institutions.
As soon as you enter through the huge gate of Rajshahi University, you will be greeted by a breathtaking view. Rajshahi University is one of the most beautiful and green campuses in Bangladesh. It is a campus spread over an area of about 753 acres, where there are many interesting places to visit.
The teachers, students and alumni of Rajshahi University have made important contributions to the language movement, the liberation war, the democratic movement and the development of education and culture in Bangladesh. And for this reason, it is recognized as one of the most traditional and prestigious universities in Bangladesh.
Rajshahi University has several tourist attractions, among which the most notable are: Paris Road, Shabash Bangladesh Sculpture, Central Library, Central Shaheed Minar, Senate Building, Kala Bhaban, Tukitaki Chattar, Iblish Chattar, and Bhojbhoomi Memorial Monument.
People from different parts of the country come to learn about the history and heritage of Rajshahi University. Afternoon or before sunset is the best time to enjoy the green environment of the campus, the chirping of birds, and the peaceful atmosphere.

The main attraction of Paris Road is the tree-lined avenue, very popular for walking and taking pictures. The Shabash Bangladesh Sculpture, which is one of the symbols of Rajshahi University, which commemorates the Liberation War.
The Central Library, which is a beautiful architectural monument and one of the most recognizable buildings of the university. The Subarna Jayanti Tower, located on the Rajshahi University campus, was built in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the university.
It was designed and sculpted by renowned Bangladeshi artist Mrinal Haque. The design of the Subarna Jayanti Tower reflects the history, culture and educational journey of Rajshahi University.

The Central Shaheed Minar located at Rajshahi University is an important monument built in memory of the language martyrs. The Senate Building is known as an attractive building of modern architecture.
The traditional red brick aesthetic building is the Kala Bhavan. Tukitaki Chattar is a popular place for students to hang out and socialize. Another well-known hangout place on the campus is Iblish Chattar.
The monument built in memory of the martyrs of the Liberation War is known as the Slaughterhouse Monument. Locals and tourists are more likely to visit these places of interest in the afternoon.

Rajshahi University is the second highest public university in the country. It was established on 6 July 1953 in the then Pakistan through the University Act. This university was established to meet the higher education needs of the people of the north.
The full educational program started in the academic year 1954-55 with only 8 departments. After the initial classes were examined in the college, the current campus of the university was shifted to Motihar.
After independence, the new Rajshahi University Act was enacted in 1973, through which the university became an autonomous institution. This university is for higher education from different countries. Rajshahi University has 59 departments and 12 faculties. Rajshahi University is known as the country's premier research and higher education institution.

The University Transport Authority initiated a transport system for the convenience of students, teachers, officers and employees of Rajshahi University. According to a survey by the University Transport Office, about 70 vehicles, both small and large, currently provide transport facilities.
Rajshahi University Stadium plays one of the most important roles among the main facilities of Rajshahi University. Various sports and sporting activities, including football, are held in the premises of the university stadium.
There are various sports facilities, including gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, around the stadium. Rajshahi University's various facilities, higher education opportunities, history and tradition have earned it recognition as a traditional and prestigious university in Bangladesh.

The combination of Rajshahi University's Paris Road, the green Motihar Square, and the memory of Shaheed Shamsujoha Sir makes this campus different from any other university. There are many buildings here, which are not possible to visit and finish in one day. The academic building in front of the university has a multi-storey structure and architecture, it is mainly used for the academic activities of the university.
Inside it are various departments, classrooms, offices and other educational facilities.
