My Village Life
My Village Life
Assalamualaikum.
How is everyone? Today, I am going to share with you about my village life.
Here we go.
I live in Bangladesh. There are officially 87,230 villages in Bangladesh. Once upon a time, most people in Bangladesh lived in villages. But currently, many people live in towns and cities in search of better job opportunities.
Though many people live in cities or towns, most people's hometowns are villages.
Bangladesh is a densely populated country, but its area is relatively small. Unemployment is one of the main problems in Bangladesh. So, people go here and there in search of jobs.
I am a simple boy. I live in a village, and I like village life very much. The name of my village is Kishamot Choritabari.
Village Environment
The village environment is very peaceful and beautiful. We can easily get fresh air in the village. The atmosphere is very clean. Especially, I enjoy walking in the fresh morning air. It refreshes our minds and keeps our bodies fit for work.
There are many crop fields in my village, such as paddy, wheat, potatoes, corn, and mustard. I walk through these fields every morning. The green fields are very beautiful.
The sight of cauliflower blooming is mesmerizing.
Overall, the environment is very enchanting.

There are also many domestic animals in the village, such as cows and goats. Cows eat grass in the fields.
There are many playgrounds in the village. Children play different types of games in their leisure time.
Features of My Village
A village consists of houses, rivers, mosques, crop fields, and other things. There are many houses in my village. Many of these houses are made of corrugated iron sheets.
There is a small river in the village. Fishermen catch fish in the river and sell them at the village market.
There is also a small market in the village. It is open three days a week.
Village Festivals
There are many festivals in the villages of Bangladesh. Pahela Baishakh is one of the biggest festivals in Bangladesh. It is celebrated throughout the country, especially in villages.
On this day, villagers arrange many events. Cultural programs are also arranged on this day. Many singers sing songs, especially the famous song, "Esho He Baishakh, Esho Esho..."
Many traditional games are also held during these events.
Village School
There is a primary school and a high school in my village. I studied at these schools. The schools are located on the western side of the village.
Children over the age of seven usually go to school. They get their primary education in the village.
Winter in the Village
Bangladesh has six seasons. Winter is one of them. The weather is very cold in winter. The sun rises quite late, and people cannot easily go outside in the early morning.
Village women prepare different types of delicious food during the winter season. I enjoy the winter season very much. It is often very foggy in the morning.
People wear warm clothes to protect themselves from the cold.
