Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Week 5 Question 1 || I'm Saving For...
What are you saving for at the moment?
Right now I'm saving for a Haval H6 HEV. I have a Corolla 1.6 Altis X 2022 at the moment, Alhamdulillah it's a very good car, never gave me any trouble. But now I want to move to an SUV, something bigger and more comfortable for family.
Why do you want the item, how much does it cost, and how long will it take you to save enough money to be able to buy it?
Honestly there are few reasons I want Haval. First is the road clearance and space, you know Karachi roads and speed breakers. Second is the features, I saw it in showroom, the interior is on another level - big screen, sunroof, 360 camera, sensors everywhere. And the main reason is hybrid, petrol is so expensive now, Corolla gives me 10-11 in city max, Haval hybrid is giving 15+ easily.
Price is quite high. HEV is around 117 lacs ex-factory, with number plate and everything it goes to like 124-125 lacs in Karachi. My Corolla will sell around 68-70 lacs if I sell now, so I still need like 55 lacs. I'm trying to save around 1 to 1.5 lac every month, so it will take me about a year or maybe a little more.
Where will you buy it from when you are ready to make the purchase?
I'll buy it from Haval Karachi Motors in Clifton, that's the official dealer of Sazgar. I don't want to go for any private import or third party.
Have you checked with an AI Chatbot like ChatGPT or Claude to see if it can find you the best deal for what you want to buy?
And yes I did check on ChatGPT and Claude, I asked them about which variant is best and what is market price. They said HEV is the most selling and best for resale, and booking time is 2-3 months. So that helped me a lot to decide.

You are planning to replace your current vehicle with the H6 HEV, primarily to ensure greater comfort for yourself and your family. It is heartening to see that you haven't merely expressed a desire to buy the car; you are actively trying to save 1 to 1.5 lakh rupees monthly and are also incorporating the proceeds from the sale of your old vehicle into this plan. If you continue on this path, you may well be able to purchase your desired car and fulfill your wish within a year.Fulfilling a personal aspiration brings a truly wonderful feeling. May Almighty Allah grant your heart's desire. One cannot achieve something simply by wishing for it; it requires sacrifice and a commitment to regular saving. You are already on that very path, and this habit of saving will play a crucial role in helping you realize your dream.

Saludos apreciada amiga. #s34engagement

Thank you my friend for your good words.
Greetings, friend @suboohi.
I like the idea of getting a new car; if it means greater comfort for the family, that sounds fantastic. You currently have a Corolla 1.6 that hasn't given you any trouble, but you want to switch to a Haval H6 HEV. This vehicle costs 117 lakhs a very high price and when you add registration and other expenses, the total comes to between 124 and 125 lakhs.
To buy it, you plan to sell your Corolla, which is valued at 68–70 lakhs. That leaves a shortfall of 55 lakhs, but the good news is that you are saving between 1 and 1.5 lakhs per month; at that rate, you could cover the difference and buy your new vehicle within a year.
It’s a great idea; the key is to stick to your savings plan to reach the goal.
Best of luck.

Thanks dear for your review comment i really appreciated
I believe the decision to upgrade from a Corolla to the Haval H6 HEV is absolutely the right one. Given the road conditions in Karachi, an SUV is truly practical due to its high ground clearance and spaciousness. Moreover, moving from a mileage of 10–11 km/L to over 15 km/L in the current fuel price climate will result in significant long-term savings. Your plan to sell your current car for 68–70 lakhs and cover the rest with your savings is excellent and well-thought-out. The idea of purchasing the vehicle from an official dealership showroom is also very sensible, as it significantly minimizes risk. InshaAllah, I hope you achieve this goal very soon. 😊
