Season 34 : Week 5 Challenge Question 1
What are you saving for at the moment?
To be honest, this question is not very easy for me to answer because I do not have any specific plan to buy something at the moment.
I am not saving money for a phone, bike, or any other particular item. However, I am currently saving STEEM.
My plan is to keep saving STEEM and hopefully use some of it for something useful in the future. One of my wishes is to start my own business. So, some of my saved STEEM may be used as part of the capital for my business.
But it will depend on how much STEEM I can save and what its value will be in the future. I want to use my STEEM for something meaningful rather than simply selling all of it.
Why do you want the item, how much does it cost, and how long will it take you to save enough money to be able to buy it?
As I mentioned, I do not have a plan to buy a particular item. My main goal is to start a business someday.
I have a personal interest in starting a business, but I have not decided exactly what type of business I will start yet. From my initial thoughts, a good business may require around 5–10 lakh BDT in cash to get started properly.
If I can get around half of that amount from my STEEM savings and manage the other half from my real-life resources, it would be much easier for me.
However, I do not want to sell all my STEEM. I also hope that STEEM will grow in the future, both in value and in its overall ecosystem. So, I would prefer to use only a part of my STEEM when the right time comes and keep the rest.
I cannot say exactly how long it will take because it depends on how much STEEM I can save and what its future value will be.
Where will you buy it from when you are ready to make the purchase?
At the moment, I am mainly thinking about two types of businesses: a pharmacy business and a business selling educational or stationery products.
If I decide to start one of these businesses, I would probably begin on a small scale. Later, if the business goes well, I could increase the amount of products and expand it.
Before starting, I would also take advice from my elder brothers and people who have experience in business. Since I do not have much business experience myself, their advice would be very helpful to me.
For buying products, I would look for a wholesale market where I can get good-quality products at reasonable prices.
I could buy the products from Rangpur, our divisional city, or from Dhaka. However, I think Dhaka would be a better option because there are many wholesalers and shops there. This would give me more opportunities to compare prices and product quality before buying.
Have you checked with an AI Chatbot like ChatGPT or Claude to see if it can find you the best deal for what you want to buy?
Yes, I have discussed different business ideas with ChatGPT. Since I do not have much experience in business, I wanted to learn about different options and how I could start a small business.
I have received different business ideas and suggestions from AI. But I do not want to follow every suggestion blindly. I have considered my own situation, budget, interests, and future plans.
The business ideas I have shared in this post are the ones that seem more suitable to me at the moment.
I also believe that AI can help us get ideas and information, but before starting a real business, I would still like to take advice from people who have practical experience.
My Saving Goal
Right now, my saving goal is not to buy a particular product. I am saving STEEM for my future.
I hope that one day I can use some of my saved STEEM to help start my own business. I do not know exactly when that day will come, but I believe that small savings can slowly help us reach bigger goals.
For now, I will continue saving STEEM and see where this journey takes me.
I hope that in the future my STEEM Power and the value of STEEM will grow enough to help me turn this small dream into reality.

Que maravillosa idea has tenido, es una muy buena visión hacia el futuro y ciertamente ahorrar Steem te puede ayudar a cumplir el sueño de tener tú propio negocio, en particular opino que cada usuario debería tener una meta a la cual dirigirá todos sus Steem ahorrados y de no ser así, deberían preocuparse por identificar una al menos, esto sin duda motiva a los usuarios a ser constantes y a trabajar a favor del objetivo establecido, sin importar los desafíos que se presente se mantendrá constante y perseverante.
También llamó mucho mi atención el tipo de negocio que quieres tener, una farmacia es muy importante para la sociedad o el entorno, ya que cubre necesidades básicas de cualquier persona y por eso, sería un sitio con presencia de usuarios de manera regular y constante, lo que genera ganancias considerables, además la otra opción también es muy buena y sirve para todo público. Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I also think saving Steem is a good idea, and I know many users are doing the same. A pharmacy can be a very useful business, but I also think choosing the right location is very important for this type of business.

Si, amigo. Bueno, en realidad tengo varios planes en mente, pero el plan más inmediato para mí es ahorrar para comprar un kit de micrófonos inalámbricos y un palo de selfie estilo trípode desplegable; ésto para poder empezar a grabar en exteriores, mi objetivo más próximo es empezar a grabar documentales de inmersion histórica en mi ciudad, y crear mi canal de youtube, espero pronto completar el dinero para ello.
Saludos amigo, es una idea muy inteligente que esté ahorrando es esta moneda, esperando que aumente significativamente en una temporada de alza, seguramente le ayudará a completar para su futuro local.

You said it very well. The market has performed quite well over the past few weeks, and we can also see an uptrend in the price of STEEM. However, the main thing is to see whether this trend continues or not.

A pharmacy would be a good business if there is local gap in the market.

Thank you for your comment. I also think a pharmacy could be a good business if I can find the right location and a gap in the local market.
I’m not trained as a pharmacist yet, but I’m interested in taking pharmacy training in the future. That way, if I get the opportunity to start or join this type of business, I can be more prepared. Finding a good job is quite difficult, and finding one that matches your expectations is even harder. So, I feel that starting a business could be a good alternative for me.
