Steemit Challenge S34W6 : Question 1 : Stranded on an Island

Hello dear friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I am here with a post about participating in a competition. The contest hosted by @steemitblog in the 6th week of Steemit Challenge Season 34 is Steemit Update [October 4th, 2026] : Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Week 7. I am ready to participate in this competition with pleasure. Let's get started.

What will be your chosen book, song and movie?

The feeling of being stranded on an island for a month seems very scary to me. But I can take that time as a challenge. Solayman is always ready to face any challenge in life. So since I'm going to be stranded on an island for a month, I need to make some preparations very quickly. I was allowed to take a few things with me before I got stuck, so I'll choose those three things very carefully. A book, a movie, a song. Since I am allowed to take three things, I will definitely pay close attention to these three things.

I will first accept a valuable and best book. That is the holy Quran, our religious book. It will cool my mind and heart when I read it. When I am lonely and have no one to talk to on the island, I will talk to my Creator through this book. I can definitely feel that the Holy Quran cools my heart when I recite it. Since it is a long book and contains the complete rules of life, I will carry this book with me. I believe that if I carry this book with me, I will be easily protected from any danger.

Although I don't like to watch too many movies because they are too long, but since I'm going to be stranded on an island for a month, I have to choose a movie that I can watch over and over again. I have seen a movie more than once, it is SALAR. It is an Indian film which is very interesting and a unique sacrifice of a friend for a friend. I never get tired of watching this movie. I was very attentive every second while watching this movie. So I will be ready to watch this movie in my trapped moments.

If a song is suggested to me, I will definitely choose my favorite song. I will take with me a song about the name of my Creator. A song that I will feel great joy listening to and singing. So I will listen to a song about God, it is Surah Ar-Rahman. It cools my heart so much that it makes my heart skip a beat when I listen to it. The body is calm and whenever I listen to it when I am tired, my body becomes normal. This song is really like medicine for me. Although it cannot be called a song, it is the word of God.

Why did you choose these? Do they bring back special memories?

The things I have chosen will definitely be very helpful for me. I chose the Quran because reciting it during times of solitude will really be very good for me. This will allow me to spend that time meditating on Allah and attaining the pleasure of the Creator. Reading this book cools my heart and it paves the way for me to the Hereafter. That is why I have chosen the Quran as my religious book.

I will also take a collection of songs from Surah Ar-Rahman, the word of Allah. Listening to it today cools my heart. My understanding of the Creator increases even more. That's why I listen to this song over and over again to know my Creator and learn about His signs. This song undoubtedly contains my joy, my happiness, and one of my paths to worship.

I chose the movie SALAR because it is a very fighting movie, where a friend is sacrificed for a friend. I couldn't focus for a second after watching it. It was so captivating and made up of fighting movies and different stories that I was able to watch it with great attention. So I think I won't get tired of watching this movie over and over again during those trapped days.

And if you had space to take one luxury item, what would it be?

If I were given the opportunity to have one luxury item, I would choose another one, which is, a power bank. One reason to take a power bank is that I will definitely need to charge it. I may get stuck or may not have any opportunity to charge it. Therefore, I will definitely carry a power bank with me. This will allow me to research my devices according to my needs. So I think if I had the chance to buy one thing, it would be a power bank. So that I can recharge my device and watch and listen to movies and songs again.
