A research study examining urban street and road dust in two cities Alkhobar and Dammam, Saudi Arabia, collected samples across 58 completely different sites. The result? Microplastics were detected in 100% of the samples.

With heavy traffic and gusty winds, this urban dust doesn't just stay on the ground—it gets resuspended into the atmosphere, and because of its tiny shape ,becoming part of the air mixture we breathe every day.
