Ten years??!! 🤯🤯 That long? I wonder how much is that in terms of human life. Like dogs are about one dog year is to 7 human years. And from 5cm to about a meter long. Incredible. What do you normally feed them? They'll need much more than those fish flakes used to feed small fishes. 🤔
Awesome! Is that a real live fish? It's huge! I would say a very unique living room decor. I am sure this elicits multiple discussions about it being the center of attention.
I really enjoy how participants present their photos. You never know what each one brings. I really appreciate how our keywords can move from glass and chair to fish and something else. The suspense is quite captivating, if you ask me.😲
Thanks for joining again and for being very active in engaging everyone here. Hope you can stay for a while 👍😊 Good luck to you.
Yesssss! Our pet fish. There are two in the tank and this is the biggest one, length from shoulder to your fingers or do we say an arm’s length? We call her tem, a river fish. And we get to watch her as we eat at the dining table. Though she can splash.
I am really glad to be here @gems.and.cookies. The way this contest works really brings photo creativity to the next level. Thank you for having me 💗
No, thank you for accepting us. We are honored, really. 🙏
That fish is something. Reminds me of a big fish too called arowana which the Chinese say bring good luck. When she splashes does the floor get wet? Wow. I would like to see that.
Aawww thank you @gems.and.cookies. I am the one who feels honored to be accepted to this prestigious club that has been running for years. Gosh, I have missed out much here. But most importantly, I am here now!! hehe
You wouldn't want to see it splash 😅 Yes, the floor gets all wet. We place a towel to standby for any wiping needed. Ah yes, arowana, the upset looking fish haha. Always sulking. But prized by many. Just like Japanese carps. Tem is in the family of carps.
Hahaha. You just described the arowana so perfectly!! The upset looking fish. Hahaha No wonder I always feel like I'm not wanted when I am around them hahaha 😂
Wow, that fish is huge! I'd love to have a Japanese-style garden with its pond and free-swimming fish.
Although to be more Zen I should become a vegetarian!
Excellent participation, good luck!

It is. When we first had them, they were about 5cm long. Now, after more than ten years, they have grown and we didn't expect they would grow so big.
Aahh yes, very zen Japanese style garden. It is very therapeutic to listen to the sounds of water from the pond or tank and see fishes swim freely.
Thank you @ladyaryastark! Good luck to you tooO!

Wow, I've only heard of such a long-lived fish once before, while researching goldfish. Your fish could be a Guinness World Record holder!
Thanks! Have a great week!
