Steem Looking Better

Coinmarketcap.com has Steem now at $0.06 each token. On the 13th it topped $0.08. In August Steem hit its all time low at $0.03414. So there has been a steep rise in Steem's price in a month, currently it is about 70% higher than a month ago. Why this happened really beats me, there has not been a paralel rise in the top Crypto tokens, yes they had price hiles but not as big as Steem's. Hive has also risen and is currently at $0.052.

The value of the Steem I own has proportionally grown too. Just a month ago my account was worth a couple of dollars more than $100.00, today its value is calculated at $183.00 by Steemit. I would of course like Steem to go up as high as it can, but being positive I do not see any way where it can top $0.10. This would take my account value to over $300.00. Not a huge amount but way better than one hundred.

The problem is that there are so many variables around that to foresee what the future might hold is highly unlikely. All the hype you see about what people calculate the future will be is more wishful thinking than reality, and of course there are also the haters who imagine a World without crypto and expect a wipeout.

Any scenario is possible, but crypto going down to zero is actually not feasible, it will always have to hold some value, if only for all the money that has been invested in it.

Just a couple of months ago I was sure that the tokens of crypto social networks would reach unimaginable lows, and now I am seeing the price of these tokens practically exploding. I am certainly no soothsayer and am worse at predicting than practically everybody. And still, here I am doing just that predicting.

But really I do hope crypto, mostly Steem and Blurt which is what i have the most of explode all the way to unthinkable highs. I think it is more likely for Steem to see good prices in the future. i am kind of negative on Blurt's possibilities. It so happens I am an Orca on Blurt with close to 60,000 tokens and I don't want them to become bags.

I am also holding more Steem than I ever have, over 3,000 but that only means that I am slightly more than half way to becoming a Dolphin. Well it is interesting to see the crypto market, especially when the news is good.
