Hi, yes, I ca not complain about my potatoes, they definitely love the soil and in our climate we have enough rains and very warm spring and summer but also long autumn. I planted potatoes really early in spring and it is indeed appr. 6 months later there are plenty of potatoes, for small family it is enough. I think if I would have bigger family I definitely would use more of our lawn.

Yes, garlic looks great, I also learnt from Internet that you braid it and can just hang around in kitchen so that they dry. That reminding my old movies with vampire where it is the best prevention.
