I also was impressed with the results of our gardening. I believe this is due to our mild climate, we tried different potatoes some of them were left overs from what we bought and because we did not use them and they started to grow already. That is why instead of throwing them away we planted them in garden. I think garlic is really grow in certain areas and I can imagine that in your area it could be only grown in Kaduna which planting them outside the aforementioned places. I agree that garden adds beauty to any places even if we have some green plants within the apartment makes it more cosy.
