Greetings to everyone in the Steem Venezuela community!

Special greetings to our wonderful host, @miyexi. I am happy to join this interesting TBT contest and share a beautiful memory from my photo gallery. Sometimes, when I go through my old photographs, I come across pictures that make me stop for a moment, smile, and remember how things used to be. Today, I want to share one of those memories with you.

(My throwback picture of July 2023)

The first two photographs I am sharing today were taken in July 2023, when I was just beginning my journey on Steemit. Honestly, whenever I look at these pictures, I cannot help but smile. Oh my goodness! Just look at how young I was back then. 😂 Sometimes, I even find it difficult to believe that the person in those photographs is the same person I see whenever I look in the mirror today.

In the second picture, you can see me standing beside my friend, @richy20, while we hold a paper showing my first Steemit achievement. The second picture is another photograph of me holding the same paper. Those pictures may look ordinary to someone else, but they carry a special meaning for me because they remind me of the beginning of something that has become an important part of my life.

The Friend Who Introduced Me to Steemit..

One special person I must appreciate in these photographs is my longtime friend, @richy20. He was the person who introduced me to Steemit and helped me understand how to get started. We had known each other for a long time before then, and I am genuinely grateful that he showed me this opportunity.

Sometimes, we meet people who introduce us to something that later becomes an important part of our lives. For me, @richy20 is one of those people. I appreciate his guidance and the role he played in bringing me into this wonderful ecosystem. I will always remember that.

༻How Much I Have Grown!༻

(A recent full photo of my self)

These last two photographs are my recent pictures. I deliberately included them because I wanted to make a comparison between my younger self in 2023 and the person I am today.

Whenever people who knew me around 2022 and 2023 see me now, some of them will say, "Ah, Chidera, you have really grown!" Sometimes, I jokingly ask them where the growth is. But whenever I bring out these old photographs and compare them with my recent ones, I understand exactly what they mean.

The difference is quite clear, and I don't even need anyone to explain it to me. Looking at my old pictures reminds me of how far I have come, not just in appearance but also in my experiences, knowledge, and creativity.

༻Why I Will Always Keep These Pictures༻

Another reason these photographs are so important to me is that they remind me of my journey on Steemit. This platform has given me opportunities to express myself, develop my writing skills, share my ideas, and interact with many wonderful people from different parts of the world.

I have come to know people I had never met before, and I have also connected with people I knew by name but had never seen physically. Through writing, commenting, and participating in different activities, I have continued learning and improving myself.

One thing I also appreciate about the Steemit ecosystem is that my published memories remain accessible. There have been times when my phone was formatted and some of my pictures disappeared from my gallery. Thankfully, because I had shared some of them on Steemit, I could still go back, download them, and save them again.

This is one reason I cannot imagine deleting these particular photographs. They are more than just old pictures to me, they remind me of where I started and the experiences I have gathered along the way.

Looking at them today fills my heart with joy and gratitude. I am thankful to God for life, growth, friendship, and the opportunity to be part of this amazing community.

Thank you for reading my TBT story.
