Hello my dear Steemians,

 

For this contest, I invite you to create a post sharing the proposals you consider necessary to bring about this change. You have complete freedom to write your post however you prefer.

One of the activities on Steemit that many users are free to take part and with that users will have an opportunity to be noticed and also to find friends. Also it is good chance to have a topic to make posts.

I tried myself to take part few times on those challenges, there are some of the restrains:

 

• mandatory “Video” in the posts.

 

I do not think it is good, often I see that people include any video, sometimes just streets, shops or any video just for the sake of video. While assessing the posts the moderator just tick a box for users accepting the fact of including video.

Looking through the other challenges I often see “Video” in majority of the challenges. Why? Is the post without video losing it’s quality?

 

• Pin in Steem Atlas

This is another mandatory condition for many of the challenges. Why the post is not judged by quality of writing and the discussing the topic of the challenge.

Many subjects that challenge require can not be pinned in Steem Atlas, because it is not about the Travel.

Therefore, hosts of challenges please stop putting it as a mandatory condition

 

• Requirements of 400+ words

 

That is another condition that does not mean that the posts having more than 400 words are high quality. The challenges are concentrate themselves on quantity, please let’s do not dictate how much to write, let’s let users to decide how their stories look like how long or how short.

 

• Steemit Team:

 

Please, do not make it easy for yourself and do not take all the time the same users, try to pick users who did not run challenge before and give them chance to try.

That will give a great mixture and variety, we will learn more users and maybe new challenges.

 

So in summary:

 

• Take off mandatory Videos in the posts

• Take off mandatory Steem Atlas pin

• Also take off mandatory share in instagram or X

• New users to be chosen to run challenge and do not repetitively choose the same users

Para este concurso, te invito a crear una publicación compartiendo las propuestas que consideres necesarias para lograr este cambio. Tienes total libertad para redactar tu publicación como prefieras.

Una de las actividades en Steemit en las que muchos usuarios pueden participar libremente les brinda la oportunidad de hacerse notar y de encontrar amigos. Además, es una buena ocasión para contar con un tema sobre el cual publicar.

Yo mismo intenté participar en esos desafíos unas cuantas veces; estas son algunas de las limitaciones:

 

• «Vídeo» obligatorio en las publicaciones.

 

No me parece bien; a menudo veo que la gente incluye cualquier vídeo —a veces simplemente de calles, tiendas o vídeos puestos por el mero hecho de incluirlos—. Al evaluar las publicaciones, el moderador simplemente marca una casilla confirmando que el usuario ha incluido un vídeo.

Al revisar los otros desafíos, a menudo veo que el «video» está presente en la mayoría de ellos. ¿Por qué? ¿Pierde calidad una publicación si no incluye video?

 

• Fijar en Steem Atlas

Esta es otra condición obligatoria para muchos de los desafíos. Por ello, la publicación no se evalúa según la calidad de la redacción ni el análisis del tema del desafío.

Muchos temas que plantean un desafío no pueden marcarse en Steem Atlas, ya que no están relacionados con los viajes.

Por lo tanto, a los organizadores de desafíos: por favor, dejen de establecer esto como un requisito obligatorio.

 

• Requisito de más de 400 palabras

 

Otra cuestión es que el hecho de que las publicaciones tengan más de 400 palabras no significa necesariamente que sean de alta calidad. Los desafíos suelen centrarse en la cantidad; por favor, no dictemos cuánto se debe escribir: dejemos que los usuarios decidan cómo quieren que sean sus historias, ya sean largas o breves.

 

• Steemit Team:

 

Por favor, no elijas el camino fácil ni recurras siempre a los mismos usuarios; intenta seleccionar a aquellos que no hayan participado en el desafío anteriormente y dales la oportunidad de probar.

Eso aportará una gran mezcla y variedad; conoceremos a más usuarios y tal vez surjan nuevos desafíos.

 

Así que, en resumen:

 

• Eliminar los videos obligatorios de las publicaciones.

• Retirar el pin obligatorio de Steem Atlas

• También elimina la opción de compartir obligatoriamente en Instagram o X.

• Se seleccionarán nuevos usuarios para llevar a cabo el desafío, evitando elegir repetidamente a los mismos usuarios.
