When a believer does wrong, God expects more than a quick apology!
In this edition of Edification Daily Devotional, you will learn why a simple repentance prayer may not be enough or satisfactory to God, especially when the person involved is a mature believer.

Your level in God at times determines the severity of His discipline or chastisement when you missed it (Deut 3:23-28).
Moses was close to God, yet one act of disobedience kept him from the Promised Land. God still loved him but His discipline was severe. The higher you grow, the more He expects from you.
