Charger fan repair and modification with a 12-volt DC regulator.
How are you all? I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. Today I will show you how to repair a charger fan.
A few days ago, a charger fan came to me to repair it, and the customer's comment was that if you press the buttons from one to nine, it controls the speed of the charger fan, but after pressing the one and two controls, if you press the number three option control, the fan would stop. The fan would not run in these options. So let's repair the fan and see how it can be made to run and be usable.
Here I have shared a video; through this video I have shown how I repaired the fan, and you will understand very well after watching the video.
First I took the fan to my table and checked it and tried it for a long time to see if it works as intended in the controlling circuit or if it needs to be modified.
Then I opened the fan and observed inside for a while. I think there is a problem with the IC of the controlling circuit, so I modified it with a Chinese 12-volt DC voltage regulator.
First, I disconnected the two red and black lines of the motor from the controlling circuit and connected the motor to the 12-volt DC controlling regulator and connected the 6-volt DC from the circuit.
There are four options inside this voltage regulator: two options are voltage in, and two voltages are voltage out, and the motor will be controlled with the out voltage. One is output through the ball valve.
When I connected the 12-volt DC voltage regulator, then to replace the voltage regulator, I made a small hole in the body of the charger fan and installed the voltage regulator by putting a nut according to the size and made the fan usable again.
