Time That Doesn't Wait For Me

Do you ever think you have endless amounts of time? As we grew up, those days sure did seem like they'd never end, right?
“I’m going to enjoy myself when I become old!” – “After achieving my dreams, I’ll surely have a happy life!”
But isn’t life very short? So many excuses were made by us for ourselves…
You know what happened just now? We've suddenly reached 40, a big milestone in every one's lifetime! Years which felt like fleeting days, yet have passed by so quickly — things that felt like yesterday were decades ago!

But don't we always say: "Time waits for nobody?" Now that we've turned 40, it's time for us to realize the true essence of this word 'time'.
There are countless number of people who unnecessarily waste away their precious times thinking about tomorrow or dwelling upon past mistakes. While having time and breath, why shouldn't we utilize these precious times doing meaningful activities rather than squandering them away because of greed, anger, unnecessary quarrels etc.? Let me tell you, true happiness doesn't come from anywhere but only lies within the present moment. So here are some ideas on how to use our remaining time:

Cherish your loved ones – You might already be spending quality time with your beloved family members but maybe you haven't expressed your gratitude and love to them yet. Try to cherish them today.
Pursue your passions – Are there any hobbies or dreams you're planning to pursue someday? Why don't you go ahead and start living that dream right now! Like traveling, writing etc.
