These are two different worlds
Why does your wallet with a seed phrase credit the internal balance, but Binance/Fiatleak don't?
These are two different worlds:
1. Your personal wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Gleec Wallet) = Non-custodial wallet
You have the seed phrase = you have the private key. You are the true owner of the address 0x00ced....
Your wallet scans the ENTIRE blockchain for your address, including the Internal Transactions. When it sees "129 POLs have arrived internally at your address," it assumes "it belongs to them, it's their private key that controls it," so it displays the balance. You can then make a normal OUT of 1.3 POL as you did.
2. Binance, Bitrue, Fiatleak, FaucetPay = Custodial exchanges
They don't give you the private key. The deposit address they give you (0x9b133...) isn't actually yours; it's an address from their system that belongs to their hot wallet.
For security reasons, their system ONLY looks at:
- Normal
Transactions Token Transfers (ERC-20)with theTransfer()event
They intentionally ignore Internal Transactions because:
- Anyone can trigger an internal transaction via a smart contract, making it easy to fake a deposit
- It's more complicated for them to secure and track
So, the answer to your question is:
You cannot send a direct internal transfer to Binance.
If Leodex sends 129 POLs via direct internal transfer to your Binance address, Binance will NEVER see it. The money will be on the blockchain, but in Binance's internal ledger, your balance will remain at 0. And you can't recover it because you don't have the private key for the Binance address.
That's why your method is the only correct one:
Leodex (internal) -> Your wallet with a seed phrase (which accepts everything) -> You make a NORMAL transfer -> Binance / Fiatleak (which only accepts normal transfers)
Your personal wallet acts as a converter from internal to normal.
