Increasing Cost of Fuel in the UAE this Year (January - September 2026)
The price of fuel in the UAE is set on monthly basis by the UAE Fuel Price Committee which releases the prices of the different types of vehicle fuel for the next month on the last day of the previous month.
Types of fuel priced by the committee include Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and Diesel. On average, most motorists use the Special 95, owners of more luxurious the car prefer using the Super 98.
Super 98, Special 95 and E-Plus petrol prices this month increased 20 Fils (AED 0.20 = USD 0.054/ litre) from last month, diesel price increase a flat AED 0.50 (half a Dirham = USD 0.136).
