Salutations new subscribers. Welcome to the new era of Full Metal Ox. We have transitioned from the “Hero’s Journey” to the “Vagabond’s Journey.” Same commitment, same psychedelic presentation, with some new stuff weaved in, eventually, and best of all, same warped sense of humor, and cynical world view.

Once upon a time in America there was such a thing as a Broadcasters’ Code.

“The Code of Practices for Television Broadcasters, also known as the Television Code, was a set of ethical standards adopted by the National Association of Broadcasters of the United States for television programming from 1952 to 1983. The code was created to self-regulate the industry in hopes of avoiding a proposed government Advisory Board and satisfying parental concerns over violence and other matters. Prior to the Television Code, the 1935 NAB Code of Ethics for radio was applied to television but fewer than half of television stations subscribed to it; when the Television Code was first issued, two-thirds of stations became subscribers.”

1983 was the Ronald Reagan administration. I’ve noticed a lot of Reagan-bashing bubbling up in my various social-media feeds. About forty-feckin’ years too late. Maybe the children or grandchildren of the Reagan revolutionaries, and so-called Reagan Democrats have taken a look at their lives and realized their ‘rents did them dirty. (Millennials began being born in 1982 according to the authors of “Millennials Rising.”)

Almost every American institution not only suffered, but was destroyed under the Reagan Administration. It was under that very same President that vaccine manufacturers were given indemnity for the damage their products did to humans. Especially children. It was called, ironically enough, “The Child Protection Act.” The reverberations from this act are still being felt and paid for. A deep dive from now to then, including the covid years is a stunning apocalypse into the sheeple-ness of the herd. There’s not a single group, from Religious Right, to da boyz in da hood, to welfare queens, to the hostages held in Iran, to air traffic controllers, to the broadcast media that were not negatively affected by Reagan’s policies. Oh, except one, the very wealthy. He cut their taxes.

But this is just a nostalgic detour. Couldn’t help it. We’re simply responding to the nudges of Universe.

For this week’s Summer Audio, we want to update the TV Guide. If you already follow us here on Substack, read no further, unless you’re really, really curious.

Now that your humble vagabond is “mature” enough and consistent enough to draw more than flies, we are feeling confident enough to boost the promotion of our Secret City. To attract our 1,001 core citizens, and let the 823,543 peripheral beings occupy the periphery.

We are building our “brand” on Substack for the time being. It seems like a stable foundation. There are rooms in the hacienda that we have yet to explore thoroughly, but so far we like what we see.

So here’s the announcement. Come hither, friends, fram, fam, fans, frenemies, enemies, old souls, bold souls, lost souls, confused souls, lurkers, shirkers, berserkers, light workers, nomads, seekers, peekers, creepers, uniquers, drinkers, thinkers, blinkers & stinkers. Congregate and regulate. Join us as we travel from one escapist fantasy to the next. From conspiracy theory, to scriptural speculation. From magic to magnificence. Never do our fingers leave our hands, as we travel these mystical lands.

We are continuing on the Vagabond’s Journey, stronger and more profound in the next 2,000 days than in the past. Enjoy the view.

Oh yeah, The Closer. Subscribe to the Substack page. Get your free trial. And when we figure out what to do with the revenue from paid subs, we’ll hit you up with the plan. No pressure.

Click! (That’s the sound of a million mouses navigating away from this channel. Good. We contain multitudes. It’s just us now. We don’t need the rabble.)

This is what we do and where we do it.

Full Metal Ox. The most prolific daily series you’ve never heard of. Unless you have. 11 minutes and 11 seconds of musings, laughing at the whirled, observing life, calling out the sheeple, and figuring out how to survive the day. Also we drop fragments of ideas for audience consideration. If you like what you see, note it. We will give you the whole jam, the “disco version” in a Long Play episode.

Full Metal Ox Long Plays. Every five days we cut an album and post it up for all the frustrated folks who get sucked into the frags, only to be left dangling at the really good parts. Not even sorry. You bring it on yourselves. More genuine interaction and we wouldn’t have to rely on systemic gamery and curiosity manipulation to build the channel. It’s like, they can’t take a millisecond to click, “like?” We’re not asking you to write essays. So guess what. You get played, because you’re used to being played. So, if you have the attention span for 30 minutes of brain-saving commentary, check the Long Plays.

Hepdekad Series. This was originally a ten day health, wellness, fitness and mental check in series. But ten days went by so quickly that not much changed. So we pushed it to 17 days. We chose 17 because it’s not a sacred number, and it wouldn’t interfere with the two other series. The three series pile up once every 85 days. Which is roughly once a century, (100 days). The idea is not only for us to check in with our own development, and share with our audience, but for us, (as your Cosmic Representative), to check on our constituents, and for You to check on your friends and families, and your extended orbit. This is a stray commentary, but “social media” has made us less social. Or so it’s been said. I’ve always been less social. But maybe I am even more less social now.

Because we are creatively scatter-brained, the Hepdekad series is likely to look & sound & feel different, every time we put it together. We may settle into something that We, [the Collective], can agree that we like, for maybe 85 days. Anyway, check that out.

The channels.
The daily Full Metal Ox series can be seen on Bitchute.com. The oldest and most controversial of our locations. We’ve been on this platform for close to a proper decade.

Rumble.com – Being on Rumble is like Lisa Douglas on Green Acres. A sophisticated socialite follows her husband to a place called Hooterville. We surmise that Rumble is dominated by bible-thumpers, apocalyptos and those cashing in on Near Death experiences, Gospel codes and doomsday. But there’s a little sliver of space for our unique presentation.

Odysee.com – This is the one we link and promote. It’s the easiest. The newest and has the smallest audience. The most popular times FMO is watched seems to be Sundays, however we are getting a few more views and follows as we warn candidates about what we’re doing. The little flame is more of an acknowledgment than a “like”. It means that a real human showed up. Thanks for that.

Youtube.com – We are there as Noxsoma. Fitness stuff. It’s a legacy page. 20 years on that platform. Maybe we start it up again. Post some safe click-bait there to get you here. You tell me.

Instagram – as @Noxsoma. Many years on the gram, maybe a decade or slightly more. We’ve begun posting clips from our workout days. The clips are excerpts from the FMO Dailies and they are designed to bring curious minds to Substack. Simple as that. If you want to follow, fine. If you don’t watch the show, you can watch the fit clips. They don’t run on Substack.

Blogs: Hive.blog. Minds.com. Steemit.com Gab.com (with audio). Gab gets the 4 20 Substack audio a day late, in the morning, and a link to the Odysee.com channel.

We are also on Mewe, Mastodon, Telegram, X, Facebook, and maybe a few others we’ve neglected or forgotten about. We use these to get people to Substack and into the Secret City. If we are looking for you, odds are you’re looking for us too. That’s how we roll.

This is why we do it the way we do. There’s no need to pretend. We want to fund our platform with real humans. Nickles, dimes & dollars. We are not looking for VCs, angel investors, or lottery windfalls, (but maybe we should start playing). When you’re in, you’re in because you want to be in. There’s something you like that you feel is worth maybe a dollar a day, that you won’t miss.

It’s meant to be and it will happen.

And we haven’t even told you about the radio station yet. But if you watch the show, (every 10 days we dedicate an 11 11 episode to promos), you already know.

This is Summer Audio six and it’s going to run all week, and then maybe forever in the archives. So if you have somehow dug this up, 7 times removed, and are wondering where it originated.
The answer is, noxsoma.substack.com.
