Mushroom hunt
I try to find mushrooms, but when I find them, I'm always unsure what kind of mushroom it is. There are many different species here and identifying their names can take weeks of searching the internet. Some small mushrooms may also be a species that has not been identified anywhere, this is also a normal phenomenon.
But looking for them and taking pictures is fun, some mushrooms have strange shapes too. 🤭👌👌🥃🥃

I have the same problem.
It is coming up to mushroom season and there will be lots of fungi in the woodland around here. I am sure some could be quite tastly - but others could be quite deadly!
I have never been confident enough in my identification skills to eat any. But I should definitely learn.
AI might help but I don't know if I would trust it enough to take the risk.

To stay on the safe side, I have just recently bought a mushroom growing kit. I had the first Lions Mane from it yesterday. Sliced and fried up with butter it was extremely tasty.
But the kits are expensive. I must learn to identify the ones in the woods for my 'free fungi fix'!

The chanterelle is the easiest mushroom to pick, here is enough of it to satisfy your needs, but here we don't grow mushrooms at home, the forest provides enough mushrooms during the summer. 🥃👌👌🍄
I am going to pay more attention to the mushrooms that grow in the woodland this autumn.
I'll get a good quality mushroom book to help me identify them reliably.
What is the book name ? 🤔👌 ... this days we use smart phone thats all 😆
I'm going to look for a suitable one on Amazon.
There is no mobile reception in the mountains where I live so I can't easily use a phone for identification when I am out and about.
