The Largest Poppy Field in Olt, Romania

What's so interesting about this poppy field, you might ask? Well, just as I mentioned already in the title, it represents the largest poppy field in Olt County.

It's not like I chased this and had it on my itinerary, but it quickly became a destination wish when seeing more and more poppies as I was driving closer to the southern side of Romania, eventually ending up close to a huge field of poppies.

I've seen quite a few similar places along the way, but they were not even a 3rd as big as what I've got to see on the territory of Studinița, and it was hard to stop the car there anyway.
