The chronicle of a Project writer.
Good day everyone, hope you are fine by the grace of God.
So today was actually a pretty solid day, not gonna lie. I spent most of it locked in on my final year project, working with MATLAB to run some simulations. Anyone who's done MATLAB work knows it's not always a smooth ride ,..you write your code, run it, and then boom, some random error pops up that makes no sense at first glance.
So yeah, I spent a good chunk of time going back and forth, tweaking parameters, debugging, re-running simulations, staring at plots trying to figure out if the results actually made sense or if I messed something up somewhere. It's honestly one of those tasks where time just disappears because you're so focused on getting the logic right and making sure the output matches what you're expecting.
After grinding through that for a while, my stomach started reminding me that I hadn't eaten in a bit, so I decided to take a break and make some food. Kept it simple noodles and egg, one of those go-to meals when you don't want to stress over cooking but still want something that actually fills you up. While I was in the middle of cooking, I randomly felt like I needed a cold drink to go with the meal, so I paused what I was doing, stepped out real quick to grab a chilled soft drink. Nothing beats a cold soda with a warm plate of noodles, honestly it just hits different.
Got back, finished up the cooking, plated everything, and finally sat down to eat. The combo of the noodles and egg with the ice-cold soft drink was honestly so satisfying after being cooped up staring at MATLAB code for hours. It felt like the perfect little reset before getting back into whatever else needed to be done.
Overall, today was one of those balanced days I put in real work on the project, made progress with the simulations, and still took time to enjoy a good meal and treat myself to a cold drink in between. Small things like that make the grind feel a lot less drainin
