She Was Right in Her 2019 Assessment; So Have I Been Since 2011
We were both criticized and viciously attacked by the same people; the only difference is that her attackers were at a higher level than those who attacked me, even though, in the end, the evil attackers won, and we both lost.
She lost her job, first as a congresswoman, then as the top head of the US intelligence agencies, and I lost some of my relatives, my country, my source of income, and continue to suffer. Her loss is big; mine is existential.
I'm not comparing myself to someone like Tulsi Gabbard, she achieved more than me in her life, but I remain better than her because throughout my compulsory military service in my country, I only defended my country within our borders from foreign invaders and terrorists. She, on the other hand, climbed up the ranks, stitching up invaders and war criminals who slaughtered innocent people in Iraq. She might've atoned for her crimes later on, but nowhere near enough to make any difference in her country's policies, especially when she had the chance to do so in her last post.
