Beneath the Surface

At first glance, these koi are simply swimming in search of food. But the longer I watched them, the more they reminded me of people. Each fish follows its own path, yet for a brief moment their lives intersect, creating a beautiful chaos beneath the water.

The brightest colors often catch our attention first, but every koi is part of something bigger. Life is much the same. We spend so much time trying to stand out that we sometimes forget the value of belonging.

Watching this living mosaic of gold, orange, and white, I was reminded that even in the busiest moments, there can be beauty, harmony, and purpose.
