Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Question 1 : What’s Your Hobby!?
Greetings of the day Steemit!
Hope you are all having a great weekend with your loved ones!
I made my best so that I don't miss this week's question number 1...and here I am on the last day of the submission with my entry!
If you have been following my post this year, you must have surely seen a lot of gardening stuffs very often...
Gardening : My Newly found HOBBY!!!

My first yellow cherry tomatoes - from seed to fruits!
And I am loving it...
In the past, it was impossible for me to get time for planting and taking care of plants - I was just too busy with food orders whole day long!
But since April this year, due to less business activity, I found myself with lots of free time, as we are in full renovation of my bistro!
Free Time - Don't waste it!
Instead of wasting those precious free time, I decided to put hands in soil and try something new while things get sorted out for my bistro.
I stared around end of April and today I am so happy to see how it has transformed!
Thanks to note that each plant you see in the photos I am sharing have been planted by either my mum or me, no one else!
I am mainly on the veggies side...
While my mum is mostly on the flowers side of things!
With this new hobby I found, I feel so good everyday that I visit it!
Seeing the different changes that happened overnight is a magical feeling, something I did not know before!
Does it cost money!?
Hmmm we can't lie here....yes it does cost money if you want something nice and beautiful!
The problem is soil, compost and irrigation!!!
And it all cost money! While space we can manage or even do it on the roof.
- Just imagine, I spend around 10 dollars only for a 10kg bag of good soil!
I think I already bought around 250kgs of soil for my garden...
So yes, we need money for buying seeds too...
Ways to minimize cost...
Make your own compost and collect rain water!
I am again very happy that I made a compost bin for all our greens and also a system to collect rain water.
Nearly everyday when i wake up, i no need to fill my irrigation can! Fresh rain water waits for me!
Gardening is not only a hobby...
It became a therapy for me and I learnt if from my mother!
Now that I age more, I understand why my mum has always spent a lot of her free time hands in soil and taking care of flowers!
You fell amazing indeed! When you do gardening, your connection with nature is simply elevated and you no more see things same in life!
Ohhh last but not least, gardening makes you become someone very patient...as everything takes time to grow! We can't rush things in nature!
Here we are friends, my entry into this week's challenge!
Hope you enjoyed the read and will support it!
Best Regards!

Saludos cordiales. #s34engagement

Oh thank you so much for such compliments my friend!
If you start gardening, you definitely need to have quite some free time very often, or else...hmmm won't look nice and will be bushes everywhere!
When I started back in April, it looked empty everywhere and just after that we had winter months...everything was going soooo slow!
But these days with warm temperatures, all the plants are happy and blooming!
I'm in love with gardening nowadays...I am doing more planting than cooking!Lol!
Thanks for stopping by!
Wish you well!
