How do you use AI in your personal life and in your work?

in #s34challenge00116 days ago (edited)

I use AI, and I use it almost every day, and I admit I've used it in my personal life and in my work life for a long time because it's part of my profession both as a marketing professional and as a content writer. But let me make it clear that AI is not a replacement for my personal thinking or creativity because, as a human, I believe we taught AI to think, but the only difference is that they think faster than us. Therefore, for me, AI is a helpful assistant that saves time and makes my daily tasks easier.

Let me accept that AI helps me stay organized and learn new things without spending too much time searching. I use AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google Gemini when I want to know about a new place in a particular place, like a restaurant review. I ask AI for information because I can't remember all of it even if I have already visited those places. You see, Google Search is not entirely run by AI but is integrated into its systems, and of course, they add user experience, which is included in all searches.

How I Use AI in My Personal Life and Work

I sometimes use AI to check my spelling, especially when I am posting on platforms like Steemit or preparing contest entries but not always. For my fiction writing, I use AI to get ideas because it gives me a starting point, and then I use my own idea.

But in my professional work, AI is an important part of my workflow. It helps me produce ideas faster, maintain quality, and manage multiple projects without feeling confused. I use tools like ChatGPT, etc., for checking posts or even taking support to draft my blog posts, but mind you, AI only helps me with outlines and drafting, which I then write in my personal style and the needs of my topic.

I have been writing for a very long time—to be exact, since 2001, even when Google did not come into the scene, but since it arrived in 2004-05, I have been using it to my best advantage. I use it for my travel writing, and since AI is integrated in all search engines, one can find everything through relevant keywords. One can't say they aren't using AI for their work. Yes, I use AI for my different jobs, including driving and cleaning or even topics in my niche.

Since I create travel videos, I use AI tools for noise removal, voice clarity, and editing videos. I have also used AI for thumbnails, graphics, and presentation slides. I use Microsoft mostly but sometimes Bing for AI images where permitted. They help me create professional-looking visuals, which I feel is important for my freelance work.

AI helps me prioritize tasks, set reminders, and even draft emails or client proposals. This frees up more time for actual writing, walking, and exploring new places around Dehradun.

For example, I am in travel writing, but I can't remember all the names of the places I visit on my trip, or when I write a film review, I take help to suggest the basic stories even if I have watched it, especially if I haven't watched too many movies in the recent past. I confirm some of the details even from my own experiences. This all helps me stay productive, creating ideas and the latest views without losing my own voice.

I am a retired marketing professional, so I used AI daily to save time and improve results. I used tools to draft and copy quickly. I use AI for creating visuals in Bing, editing videos for Speem, and, of course, generating performance reports from Google Sheets data. For client meetings, etc, etc.

I know how to summarize documents and prepare presentation points with the help of AI so I can focus on strategy, creativity, and building relationships with clients and teams.

I still use various AI assistants that keep me informed, remind me, and help me do other similar jobs. I am not a big music lover, so I will skip the gadgets that I tried, like the Google Home speaker, etc. I don't have many gadgets in my Indian home, but back in Australia there is nothing that is available, and I don't have it, but that's a long list, and we all know about them, including my Tesla, apps that keep an eye on our security, and gadgets that clean, wash, and do several other jobs.

By the way, there was a website that published AI-related articles. They invited the writer to publish but put their work on SEO for three days and paid on an upfront basis according to their rating. I posted and got published at least 10-12 articles each month. So I can say, I have taken full advantage of AI right from the beginning.

In short, AI makes my daily life and work easier, but I am still the one making the decisions, adding the creativity, and keeping the human touch in everything I create.

I use AI in my personal life. In most cases, like when teaching my son something, if a spelling or math seems a little difficult to me, I try to explain the matter to my son in a simpler way with the help of AI. If I need information on a topic, I also ask AI about that. However, some help can be taken without relying entirely on AI. I take the help of AI to learn about new technologies. AI helps us think faster, but its extensive use will gradually narrow our own thinking.

We always say what we do and that's natural! As a house wife and mom you take the best advantage of AI in your ways where as a professional I use it in my own ways. The use of AI is so vast that one needs a whole life to know about it yet wishes he could learn more.

I have done a lot of research on this topic and when I see my car can run on auto pilot, I get scared. I have that sofware installed in my car but never used it. There are so many other gadgets in our homes which run with the help of AI and you knw what, we have taught AI to do all this yet feel fascinated watching them do that. #s34engagement

It is very good to read about your usage from you. In fact, we use it in different fields at different times, but in your case, I can see that you use AI in many tasks.

I have tried to use the AI that you use in noise cancellation in video editing, but it did not seem to be very beneficial in my case.

Apart from this, I also use it in most of the other tasks that you use, but this is the first time I have come to know that you use AI in email. Hopefully, I will learn many new things.

And you are absolutely right. This AI can work very well as our assistant and can be trained very well. And if we use it very well and keep it as our complete assistant, then our tasks will become much easier.

Everything else what you said is fine but as far as emails are concerned in GMail there is this feature as you type it suggests words/phrase which you can use or discard. In certain cases it becomes a problem but in my field marketing it remembers what we generally type so the suggestions come on auto. Try it! #s34engagement

This is a new topic for me, I have heard about it for the first time from you and I will definitely try to use it because the more we use it, the more we will learn and find out new things. I am also very happy to hear that you are getting many benefits from using it. I will definitely try it. If you have anything new or any other apps that I don't know about or where you are using this app, please let me know. Thank you.
Have a good day.
