Steemit Challenge Season 34 : Weekly Challenge Questions-01
Today's Challenge Question got me thinking about an interesting situation. If five Steemit Team members visit my city Muridke, Pakistan and I get a chance to invite them for a picnic, I will try to make the occasion very special. For me it will not be just a picnic but a beautiful opportunity to share my local culture, food and Pakistani hospitality with the Steemit Team.

A place for a picnic
For a picnic in Muridke, I would prefer to choose a place with open air, trees and a peaceful atmosphere. I will try to select some suitable green and open place away from the busy streets of the city, where we can sit comfortably and talk to each other.

source
I will arrive at the picnic spot first and arrange to sit. Since the Steemit Team will consist of five people and I would also like to invite some local Steemians, the space should be where everyone can sit comfortably. There will be a separate place for eating and a comfortable seating arrangement for conversation.
The traditional taste of Muridke
While in Muridke, I would like to introduce the Steemit Team to not just normal food, but to Pakistani and Punjabi flavors.
First up will be the Chicken Kadhahi. A hot kadai prepared with fresh chicken, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chillies will be served with fresh naan. I think this dish can give guests the best taste of Pakistani food.

This will be followed by Chicken Biryani. Biryani prepared with aromatic rice and spices will be accompanied by raita and fresh salad.
The meal will also include Seekh Kebab and Chicken Takaka. I will have mint chutney, onion and lemon with the kebab. Since all five members of the Steemit Team are non-vegetarian, I will focus on having a variety of meat dishes for them.
Tea and dessert
A Pakistani picnic is not complete for me without tea. After the meal, fresh milk tea will be made for everyone. Tea will be accompanied by biscuits and local sweets.

source
Sweets can include gulab jamun, jalebi and barfi. In this way, the meal will also end in Pakistani style.
My Shopping List
To prepare the picnic, I will buy most of the ingredients from the local market the day before. My shopping list will include:
- Chicken
- Rice for Biryani
- Kebabs
- Chicken for chicken tikka
- tomato
- Onion
- Ginger and garlic
- Green chillies
- Coriander and mint
- Yogurt
- lemon
- Various spices
- Fresh bread
- Salad vegetables
- Mint sauce
- Jose
- Mineral water
- Tea and milk
- Biscuits
- Gulab jamun, jalebi and barfi
- Plates, glasses and spoons
- Tissue and trash bags
I will buy meat from my trusted local butcher, vegetables from a nearby vegetable market and bread fresh from a local oven. Sweets will also be taken from a good local shop of Muridke.
Which Steemians to invite?
I would like to invite all the Steemians around and around who are active on Steemit and contribute positively to the community. Especially people who read others' posts, make helpful comments and encourage new Steemians.

At the picnic we can share our Steemit journey with each other. We can talk about how we got started on Steemit, what kind of posts we like and what we want to do on the platform in the future.
Picnic activities
I will have a friendly discussion besides food. Steemit Team members share their experiences and local Steemians also offer their thoughts.

source
We can talk about our favorite Steemit posts, share new ideas and finally take a group photo together. I think this photo can be a beautiful memory of this meeting.
In my view the real purpose
For me, the main purpose of this picnic will not only be to feed the Steemit Team. Online we are connected through each other's posts, comments and discussions, but the experience of sitting in the same place and talking will be different.
I would like Steemit Team to leave Muridke not only with the taste of the food but also with the memory of the simplicity, love and hospitality of the people here.
Conclusion
If the Steemit Team really comes to Muridke, I would like to give them a warm welcome. A beautiful open space, piping hot chicken kadhari, biryani, kebabs, fresh naan, sweet jalebi, milky tea and Steemians sitting around — I think this will be a great Steemit gathering.

The happiest thing for me would be that in this meeting we all get to know each other not just as usernames but as real friends.
Welcome to the Steemit Team from Muridke — if guests come, there will be food and heart-to-heart!
Best Regards,

Wonderful and heartwarming idea!
I really enjoyed reading your post and the way you have planned every little detail of the picnic with the Steemit Team. I especially loved that you want to introduce them not only to the beautiful environment of Muridke but also to Pakistani and Punjabi culture through traditional food and hospitality. Chicken Karahi, biryani, seekh kebabs, tikka, fresh naan, jalebi, gulab jamun and, of course, Pakistani milk tea sound like a perfect feast! Your shopping list and seating arrangements also show how seriously and thoughtfully you would prepare for such a special occasion.I also agree with you that the real beauty of this gathering would be meeting Steemians in person rather than knowing them only through usernames, posts and comments. Sharing experiences, discussing Steemit journeys, exchanging ideas and taking a group photo together would create memories that everyone could cherish for a long time.
Your final thought about welcoming the Steemit Team with both food and heart-to-heart conversations perfectly captures the spirit of Pakistani hospitality. I hope you get the opportunity to host such a memorable gathering in Muridke someday. Best of luck with the challenge!
