Cybersecurity deserves a place in the elevator industry’s conversation about safety and reliability.

At Elevatorbranchen’s members’ meeting in Nyborg on 10 September, SecPoint delivered a presentation on evolving cyber threats to digital systems and infrastructure.

Cybersecurity is not just an IT issue. Identifying vulnerabilities and addressing cyber risks should be an ongoing business priority, not something considered only after an incident.

The programme also featured presentations on safety culture by Anne Sofia Lønvig from Danish Industry, developments in elevator training by Andreas Lau from TEC - Technical Education Copenhagen, and a discussion on firefighter lifts with Arbejdstilsynet.

Tommy Rosenkrands and Rasmus Panduro also shared perspectives on how the industry can attract new employees and retain its existing workforce.
