Be Your (Nasty) Self | Exploring My Mischievous Side
Hello Steemit Community!I hope everyone is doing well. Today I am exploring an interesting and creative contest topic called “Be Your (Nasty) Self.” When I first read this title I thought about the funny and mischievous side that every person may have. We usually try to show our good side to everyone but sometimes our playful thoughts and silly actions reveal another side of our personality.
══════ 01 | The Mischievous Side of Our Personality ══════
Everyone has a different personality . Some people are quiet and serious while others love making jokes and creating funny situations . Even a serious person can sometimes do something unexpected that makes everyone laugh .
I believe that being a little mischievous is not always a bad thing . Sometimes a harmless joke can turn an ordinary day into a memorable one . The important thing is to understand the difference between having fun and hurting someone .

══════ 02 | When Our Thoughts Become Funny ══════
Have you ever experienced a moment when your mind tells you to do something sensible but another thought encourages you to do something funny? I think this is an interesting way to understand the theme of this contest.
Imagine a little devil sitting on someone's shoulder and whispering mischievous ideas . The person tries to remain serious but cannot stop smiling . This imaginary situation represents the playful thoughts that sometimes appear in our minds .
Of course we should always make responsible decisions. We can enjoy our sense of humour without disrespecting other people or crossing their boundaries .

══════ 03 | Creativity and Self-Expression ══════
For me creativity is not limited to professional artists. Everyone can express an idea through imagination and simple artistic concepts . Sometimes a few lines and a funny character can communicate an idea more effectively than a long explanation .
This contest also reminds me that we should not always take ourselves too seriously . Life brings responsibilities and challenges but a little humour can make our daily experiences more enjoyable .
These pictures are visual references for the theme and are not my original drawings.
The topic “Be Your (Nasty) Self” encourages us to explore the funny and mischievous side of human nature. We all have different characteristics that make us unique. What matters most is expressing ourselves while respecting others.
Thank you for reading my post. I wish the best of luck to everyone participating in this creative contest.
I would like to thank @wakeupkitty for organizing this creative contest.

You’ve made a good start in this competition. The images are spot on too; I’d expected something a bit more devilish, like in the Tom and Jerry cartoons, where Tom the cat often has a devil and an angel on his shoulder to help him make decisions – and we see the same thing in the Walt Disney animation The Emperor’s New Groove with Cronk. I find it particularly hilarious when these two get into an argument. Personally, however, I don’t have a devil or an angel sitting on my shoulder. I’ll just have to make do without. I do find your article loses a bit of its edge as soon as you start talking about norms and values and not wanting to hurt anyone, and so on and so forth. This sounds a bit like the usual nonsense, and it makes me wonder: how much further can you really be yourself? When it comes down to it, you’ll always hurt someone, no matter how careful you are. Perhaps the question is also: how honest are you? Will you lie to spare someone’s feelings, or will you tell the truth? If you don’t tell the truth, then your best friend will be angry too, because you knew it all and kept it to yourself to spare their feelings. Nothing is as complicated as human beings, and nothing is as fickle. I look forward to your next creative contribution.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and interesting comment. I really appreciate the way you looked at my article from a different perspective .
I actually love the idea of the devil and angel arguing on our shoulders . Perhaps I should have given them a little more space in my story you’ve raised an important point about honesty and human relationships . I agree that trying to please everyone can sometimes mean losing a part of ourselves . The truth is, there is no perfect way to deal with every situation . Sometimes honesty hurts, and sometimes silence hurts even more . Perhaps being yourself is not about avoiding every mistake or never hurting anyone, but about having the courage to be honest and accepting that not everyone will agree with you your comment has given me something more to think about for my next contribution . Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts . I hope the next one will be a little more devilish 😄
