A short Trip to Jaugarah Gudaraghat(02 June , 2026)

People from the city rush to the village to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones. During Eid, they get the opportunity to celebrate Eid with their entire family. Even though they are in the city for the sake of life and livelihood, they had to come home to celebrate Eid. They woke up early like every day. Villagers normally wake up early in the morning. Because they go to the fields to work in the morning. The beauty of the village is worth enjoying.

Since Eid, it has been very hot in all the districts of Bangladesh. Due to the intensity of the heat, no one goes anywhere. And the biggest problem in the village is load shedding. Due to load shedding, the people of the village are also fed up. However, the beauty of the village is that you will get fresh air here! The natural air will cool both your body and mind.

There are several places to visit in our village. The beauty of the places is also changing with the passage of time. When I go home, I try to visit the village. In continuation of that, I decided to go to our Jhaugara Gudaraghat. Which can be called a commercial spot. Because during the rainy season, many cargo boats and launches stop here. Boat trips are also organized. Now that it is summer in Bangladesh, there is less water in the river. Due to the low water, there is less fishing in the river.

It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk from our house to Jhaugara Gudaraghat. If you take a battery-powered auto-rickshaw, it takes about 10-15 minutes. Since the place is inside the village, there are no large vehicles here. Ordinary rickshaws and battery-powered autos ply more.

I went on foot. I left in the afternoon. If you walk, you get a little more time. You can enjoy the beauty of the village wonderfully. Since the Narsunda River flows past the village, that is why civilization has developed here centered around the river.

Even ten or fifteen years ago, there were not so many settlements along the river. When I went, I saw that many settlements had come up along the river. The river has been dredged. There is not much current in the river. Because there is not much flow in the river except during the rainy season.

When I went to Jhaugara Gudaraghat, I saw that several small shops had been built there. The bridge at Gudaraghat basically connects two villages. Jhaugara village is on this side of the river, and Sutaraghat village is on the other side of the river. The bridge has also made the transportation system for people easier. People of the two areas can now move easily.

If we talk about twenty years ago, the bridge did not exist then. At that time, people used to go from one side of the river to the other by boat. Since the main city of both villages is Nandail, the people of the Sutaraghat area have to cross by boat to go to the city.

After I went to Jhaugara Gudaraghat, I saw that there was an auto stand there. People use battery-powered cars to go to the city from here. Many people come to visit Gudaraghat. Because from here, the beauty of the river can be enjoyed very beautifully. The river on one side and the cool breeze on the other. It instantly cools the soul.

In the afternoon, people come here and chat. I sat for a while and enjoyed the beauty of the river. Hanging a net in the river. Now is not the time for fishing. Because there is no current in the river. Only when there is a current do the fishermen of this area catch fish with nets.

In fact, this eternal beauty of the village will look more beautiful to you when you come to visit the village. The simple lifestyle of the village people and the beauty of nature all seem like a painting by an artist.
