어떤 만남, 숭고한 결단

지인의 엉거주춤한 부탁에
좋은 일 하나 보태겠다는 가벼운 걸음이었다
그저 그렇고 그런 풍경이겠거니
그렇게 애터미의 문을 두드렸다

그러나 그곳은 평범한 간이역이 아니었다

마치 기대 없이, 그저 허기나 채우려
문 열고 들어선 낯선 식당에서
벼락같은 미식의 세계를 마주한 것처럼
나는 그 맛에 속절없이 매혹당하고 말았다

이 깊은 풍미의 뿌리는 어디서 오는가
숨은 양념을 찾아내듯, 숨결을 긁어모으듯
그렇게 애터미라는 깊은 맛을 음미했다

아, 이것은 나 홀로 채우는 배부름이 아니다
모두가 함께 차리는 풍성한 만찬이다
존재를 아는 것만으로, 이름을 건네는 것만으로도

우리 마침내 손을 잡고 함께 승리하리라

세상의 비틀어진 손가락질이야
바람에 흩어지는 겨와 같으니
우리가 나쁜 사람이 되는 것도 아니요
슬퍼하며 고개 숙일 일은 더더욱 아니다

나의 성장을 넘어 누군가의 삶을 일으켜 세우는 일
이것은 단순히 가치 있는 삶을 넘어
신성한 제단 위에 올리는 숭고한 기도다

그렇기에 나는 오늘을 살고, 애터미를 한다
차갑고 메마른 세상 속에서

At an acquaintance's hesitant request,
It was a light step, merely to add a small good deed.
Thinking it would be just another ordinary scene,
I knocked on the door of Atomy.

Yet, that place was no ordinary wayside station.

Like stepping into an unfamiliar diner with no expectations,
Simply looking to stave off a passing hunger,
Only to be struck by a sudden, lightning-like world of gastronomy—
I found myself helplessly, utterly captivated by its flavor.

Where does the root of this profound depth come from?
Like seeking out hidden spices, like gathering every stray breath,
I savored the deep, exquisite taste of Atomy.

Ah, this is no solitary meal to satisfy oneself;
It is a magnificent feast we prepare and share together.
Just to know its existence, just to pass along its name—
That in itself is a dazzling encounter that becomes a gift.

When this wondrous meeting encounters the burning flame of STEEM,
I realized, not with my mind but through the thrill of my entire being,
That it would blaze even more radiantly, like a roaring furnace.

And so, I chose to lose myself in it;
No, I have already become completely intoxicated by its fragrance.
Rather than the age-old preaching of "Believe in God and go to heaven,"
The whisper of "Do you know Atomy? Do Atomy,"
Was the grandest incantation of blessing one could offer on this earth.

Thus, I sharply whetted the blade of my determination.
I will lift you up into the ranks of success,
I, too, shall surely erect the tower of triumph,
And together, hand in hand, we will ultimately prevail.

Let the world point its crooked fingers as it will;
It is nothing but chaff scattered in the wind.
It does not make us wicked people,
Nor is it something to grieve over with a bowed head.

Moving beyond my own growth to awaken and rebuild someone else’s life—
This transcends a merely meaningful existence;
It is a sacred prayer laid upon a divine altar.

That is why I live today, and why I do Atomy.
In a cold, desolate world,
Like the warm, nurturing breath of STEEM, the most beautiful respiration of life—
That is the Atomy I truly love.
