Day 8/9 Melbourne Australia

in #steem10 days ago

The last two days here in Melbourne have been more of the same with work going well and getting my 15 kilometers of walking done.

I now only have 2 full days of work to go and only 2 nights left in my current accommodation, for my last night in Melbourne i will be staying at the Ibis at Melbourne Airport.

Last night my boss took me out for dinner back to a place we have been on one of my other trips to Melbourne.

It's around a thirty minute drive into the City and beforehand i found a car park quite close to the Restaurant, so off i went and it actually took me around forty minutes but i had loads of time.

After parking i took a stroll down the street to check things out, it was just after 5.30pm so still quite busy.

So just before 6pm my boss arrived and we went inside Squire Loft in South Yara which is a steakhouse which make beautiful food.

We both had Ribs as a started and both had Steak for our mains, i was supposed to get some pictures of my food but i forgot.

For tonight's dinner its not quite as flash as last nights but still good enough for me, plus i need to try and use up some of the Food i have brought while i have been here

So tonight it was an Omelet with Turkey and a can of baked beans, the beans cost a massive $1.09 at Aldi and tasted just as good as more expensive ones.

Hi, I just started following you. Thanks for stopping by and for your vote, but I don't know if you're from Australia or just visiting there—how nice if you're just visiting.

I’ve never been to Australia, but I remember a classmate from high school who moved there many years ago—she started a family there and everything. She sometimes sends me photos of those beautiful places.

It also reminds me of the great Olivia Newton-John, who, even though she wasn’t born there, lived there for many years—I think her whole life.
