The drawer audit is a clever way to measure tool ROI by actual use rather than perceived value. I'd add that this same method works beautifully for digital subscriptions where we pay for features we never touch. The receipts would show how many times we actually used that premium photo editor versus how many months we paid for it. What's one tool in your digital drawer that you've barely touched despite paying for it?
