Thank you, @kryptonita, for this important question. @minisupportive is fundamentally built around supporting the Steem community rather than maximizing its own short-term growth.
As shown in our @supportive reports, our current curation income is around 10% annually. Since we provide approximately 15% in annual distributions, the remaining difference of around 5% is effectively covered by sacrificing part of the project's potential growth. In other words, we deliberately give up some growth in order to provide stronger and more meaningful support to the community.
This does not mean that the system is being depleted. It simply means that our growth rate is slower than it could otherwise be. Our priority is to maintain a sustainable balance between supporting participants and strengthening the project over the long term.
For this reason, we currently limit the support capacity to a level that we believe can be maintained safely, with a maximum target of 100,000 STEEM. Going significantly beyond that level could put unnecessary pressure on the project's sustainability.
At the moment, only around 1% of this available capacity is being utilized. This means there is still a very large amount of room for accounts that would like to participate and receive support.
So, in the medium term, our goal is not simply to maximize the size of the pool. Our goal is to continue growing steadily while using a meaningful portion of that capacity to support the community. The 15% distribution level is therefore part of that balance — it slows our growth, but it also allows us to give more back to the community today.
