SLC33-W3: My Community, My Story – Transportation in My Area

The common mode of transportation in our area is the train. So the people of Parbatipur city feel more comfortable traveling by train. Parbatipur station is located in the area adjacent to Parbatipur Notun Bazar. From this station, you can travel to different places. From the registration, you can go to Chilahati, Panchagarh, Dhaka, Patgram, Rajshahi, Khulna and Bogra.
The most used transportation system in our area is the train. Our Parbatipur city has the best train connection. We can go to different places by train. The station in our Parbatipur is Railway Junction. Since it is a railway junction, it is possible to travel to different places in Bangladesh from here by train. My home is in Rajshahi district, I can easily go to Rajshahi by train from Parbatipur city. My father works in the railway in Parbatipur city. Due to him, we live in Parbatipur city. Since our home is in Rajshahi district, we travel by train more.
Train travel is very affordable in my area. Train travel is very safe and convenient. People in our area use trains to go to different places. We can go to different places in Bangladesh very easily by train. From Parbatipur Railway Junction, you can go to Chilahati, Panchagarh, Dhaka, Bogra, Rajshahi, Khulna and Patgram. Train travel is very safe. Accidents are not seen very often on trains in Bangladesh. Train travel is very convenient. There is food facility on the train. There is toilet on the train. Besides, there is a place to offer prayers in the train. There is a place to sleep at night in the train. Also, sufficient amount of light and air enters the train.
There are different transportation systems. Each transportation has different facilities. Transportation by bus is a bit of a hassle. When we want to go from one place to another by bus, we face different problems. While traveling by bus, we cannot offer prayers on time. While traveling by bus, we cannot eat any food until we reach our specific destination. If someone needs to use the toilet while traveling by bus, then he cannot use the toilet anywhere. After the bus reaches a specific destination, he can use the toilet there. These problems are not seen in trains. We can make some improvements in the bus transportation system. We can arrange toilets in the bus. We can create a separate place for offering prayers. We can also arrange food. This will benefit the passengers.
I would advise a visitor who is going to use the local transportation system in my area for the first time to travel by train. Because the most convenient way to travel in our city of Parbatipur is to travel by train. By train, he can travel to different places in Bangladesh. And traveling by train is very safe. By traveling by train, he will get many benefits that he will not get in other transportation systems.

Parbatipur Railway Junction is very beautiful to look at and a very old junction. I am very happy to know that people live their normal daily lives here and go to different places at low cost.
