Powered Up over 500 Steem - But why we have only a small amount of Steem being powered up overall????? Over 1.7 Million Steem Powered Down just in this month!!!
Greetings of the day everyone!
After being absent from the platform for some time, now that I am back to normal, I have time checking stats here and there to try to understand what's going on with Steem?!
Today after like 2 weeks of writing and earning, I decided to power up all the liquid Steem in my wallet which amounted to over 514 Steem.
I will try to keep Friday to be the day of Power Up for me!
I have been powering up for years...
And this is my usual habit on the platform and is a proof that I fully support Steemit.
I am not here just to milk the system.
For those who don't know, I also have the @steemit-ironchef account where everything is powered up and we always try to stay in the #club5050.
So in all I have powered up 43,421 SP on my main account and 46,812 SP on @steemit-ironchef account! Yes, I have over 90K SP!!!
And I started from zero...never forget that.
So yes, earlier today I powered up my little 514 liquid Steem as ongoing support to the platform.
This is the before and after the power up.
Usually I am super excited when writing power up post...
But today, after making my power up, I said let me check out how many users are doing so...
I was shocked!!!
These numbers do not help the price of Steem at all friends! We all need to make an effort...
128 269 Steem Powered Up Vs 1 703 834 Steem Powered Down only in October 2026 up to now!
That's more than 13 times difference and normally should be the opposite...
Steem Powered Up this month
Steem Powered Down this month
I also decided to post this one directly on my personal blog and not in the #steemit-ironchef community despite that they organize the #power-sic challenge...
While checking about how many people are participating in this nice contest held each week by the courageous moderators of SIC, only 1 or 2 users!
This is alarming and need to be addressed ASAP.
I really hope this post reaches maximum people and the curators mainly, as something need to be done to encourage people to power up maximum.
Where are we about the clubs???
Despite that some people did not like this, but I believe we need to encourage this one again and help in these alarming numbers.
I have always try to stay in the #club75 and #club100 and was heavily rewarded for doing so.
Seeing the price of Steem drowning like this is heartbreaking!
There were times were the price of Steem was above 6usd and even at around 1usd it was ok...but looking at the prices these days, hmmm!
Spend some time on Steemworld.org
I encourage all of you to get some free time to go through the different tools on Steemworld.org, you can find a lot of useful informations.
I leave it here...
I truly believe in Steem/Steemit and will keep giving my support wherever I can.
I will also keep powering up maximum of my earnings and try to stay minimum in the #club75 but never below...but it would be great if more users join this cause.
I don't know...
Looking forward to read from you and would be nice if we could get the view of SC01/SC02...
Alone I can't do much...but together we can make a huge impact each day!
Let's see.
Steem On!
