Inside My Workspace: How I Organized My PC Setup for Coding and Writing

Hi everyone,

Following my introduction post yesterday, I wanted to share a look at the environment where I do most of my digital work, writing, and coding.

For me, a clean and functional physical workspace is essential for maintaining focus and productivity. Over time, I have built a multi-monitor setup that allows me to manage different tasks simultaneously without constantly switching tabs.

The Hardware Layout
Dual Monitors I use a main wide monitor on the left for my primary tasks, such as writing code or drafting blog posts. Above my laptop on the right, I have a secondary screen mounted to monitor live feeds, preview my work, or keep reference documentation open.

The Laptop My laptop sits below the secondary screen and serves as the core machine running my system, while its screen remains free for communication apps or terminal windows.

Input Devices I use a tactile mechanical keyboard with white backlighting on the left for typing comfort, and a secondary keyboard on the right.

How This Setup Helps My Workflow
Separation of Tasks Having multiple screens allows me to write code or posts on one screen while keeping documentation or research open on the other. This saves time and keeps my mind organized.

Improved Focus The dark-mode aesthetic and ambient neon lighting help reduce eye strain during long evening sessions, making it easier to focus on complex projects.

Efficiency Having a dedicated keyboard and mouse layout tailored to my hand movements makes long writing sessions comfortable.
