Hunter's comment

HoldTalk is dictation for the Mac without a subscription. Hold the fn key, speak, and the text appears at the cursor in any app. Transcription runs on your Mac with Apple's speech engine, with a personal dictionary and a searchable history. 7 days of Pro free, then 2,000 free words a week or Pro once for 19 EUR during the launch.
