Steemit Update [November 2nd, 2026] : Steemit Challenge Season 35 - Week 1

in #steemitchallenge • 2 hours ago

Time for a new season. Time for some new ideas.

For Season 35 we will be keeping some of the elements developed in the last season that worked well like encouraging comments and weekly selection posts.

We will also be trying some new ideas for the Challenge questions.

This season will likely run for 4 - 6 weeks depending how it evolves

Season 35 : Week 1 Challenge Questions

For Season 35 the Challenge questions will be coming from you, the Community.

The second question of the last week of Season 34 asked people to come up with potential Challenge questions that were interesting, challenging and difficult to answer with AI.

Sadly, and ironically, some people appeared to resort to AI to come up with their list of questions, but nevertheless there were many great questions put forward…

So for Season 35, each week we are asking you to pick one or two of those questions, and make your posts based on those questions.

For each post you should tag the author and include the question at the start of your post, with a link to the post it came from.

You should also include the tag #s35challenge-wk1 in your first four tags.

Week 1 will remain open until 11:59pm UTC on Sunday, November 8th, 2026.

As an added bonus if the original author of any Challenge question puts a useful comment on a post using their question then they may get an additional reward from sc01/02.

Such comments will get a higher reward if they include a meaningful critique of the post. A realistic grading out of 10 would be even better.

Season 35 : Weekly Choice Posts

Season 35 will continue with the Weekly Choice Posts - this allows everyone to be a mini Community Curator.

For these posts you should select four posts in total.

Your four posts should be one Diary Game, two Challenge Questions and one post about any subject that you think is genuinely unique, creative and of high quality.

For each selected post include a short paragraph saying why you have chosen the post.

The unique, wildcard post you chose should be from a country other than your own. You should vote on the post and make a meaningful comment telling the author that you have selected their post and why.

Weekly Choice Posts should include the tag #s35weekly in the first four tags.

Comments

We will also be looking out for good comments to reward but you no longer need to include any special tags in the comments.

Season 35 will be another evolving experimental season.

We are looking forward to seeing what Challenge questions are selected.

Thank you

The Steemit Team

We are pleased to launch Season 35 with a fresh new look. In this iteration, we will incorporate all the questions that emerged during the second segment of the final week of Season 34. Many of these questions relate to AI; however, our primary focus will be to highlight and present practical questions that distinguish us from AI—questions that foster a genuine, deep-seated understanding.

Just as Season 34 has been quite successful, I hope Season 35 will also be quite successful and now we will definitely take it to a good turn.

The special tags that were used for comments have been removed. This is the best thing in my opinion because it was difficult to find comments through tags. Therefore, whoever does their conversation should do it without tags so that there are no restrictions on it and they can have a good conversation freely.
