Steemit Update [October 18th, 2026] : Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Week 9
The new format of Season 34 still seems to be working well so we will be continuing with this for a few more weeks.
Season 34 will keep going with the engagement and improvement comments, the weekly choice posts and two new Challenge questions each week

Question 1 : A Dinner Party to Change the World
You can invite five influential people to a dinner party to discuss how to improve the world.
Who would you invite, and why?
What questions would you ask them, and how do you think you could influence them to make positive changes?
The guests can be politicians, world leaders, business CEOs, scientists, celebrities or anyone you think can make a change for the better. They should be people who are currently living.

Question 2 : Your Favorite YouTube Channels
Which are your three favorite YouTube Channels?
Why do you like these channels?
How long have you been watching them?
Include one good example video from each channel.
Do you think the type of content of these channels would be suitable for Steem?
How could content creators like these be attracted to Steem, either by direct posting of YouTube videos, or by posting via Speem?

Great! I can do all these tasks without going out of house or hospital. I feel these two questions would attract many users as we all have our favorite influential persons to discuss how to improve the world. And YouTube channels.

It would be very interesting—and a good mental exercise—to focus on historical figures who have already passed away; they have left behind their own legacies.
It is also curious that most of the posts already made refer to the very same figures that any artificial intelligence would suggest—Bill Gates, Greta Thunberg, and others—all of whom are involved with dominant technology and mainstream media.

I really enjoyed both of this week’s prompts—especially the second one, which asks us to write about our three favorite YouTube channels. I believe this topic will allow us to learn about each other’s preferences and gain insights into creating new types of content for the Steemit platform. Furthermore, encouraging YouTube content creators to take an interest in Steemit is a significant initiative. This is another great season, season 34 Week 9 challenge question,this is an interesting questions so far,it educative and encouraging,why I said so is bringing people from different fields of work to discuss on what will change the world,is nothing but amazing concern for brighter tomorrow.

Question 1 is the tougher of the two for me, precisely because "influential" is doing all the heavy lifting in the prompt. Fame and power are not the same thing, and I find the interesting choices are the people whose influence is quiet but structural — the ones who change rules rather than headlines. The hardest part of my answer so far is not choosing the five guests, but the second half of the question: what would I actually ask them to convince them to act together? That follow-through is where most dinner-party fantasies fall apart, so I am glad the challenge asks for it.
