Casa de la diversidad cultural un espacio donde converge el pasado y presente del Oriente Venezolano
Today I am sharing my visit to the House of Cultural Diversity. Located on Sucre Street, it operates as a house-museum where you can journey into the past while discovering the instruments, techniques, and materials our ancestors used to craft the objects and tools that facilitated their daily lives and enabled their cultural activities. One item that caught my eye was a rectangular drum; at first glance, I thought it was merely a box on display, but during the guided tour, I learned it was actually an ancestral drum. The collection also includes maracas, bamboo flutes, and a unique wooden bass.
