Today I worked without eating

Hello my dear Steemians,

I want to share my experience today with all of you.

Today I woke up very early to go to work as a painter here in Kano. I was very hungry because I did not have money to buy food last night.

I still went to work with empty stomach. I worked from 8am till 2pm under hot sun. Mixing paint, carrying buckets, and painting walls. It was very hard. My body was weak but I had to continue because I need this job to survive.

This is the reality for many young guys like me in Nigeria. Sometimes you will work the whole day without food, just because you want a better future.

I am not begging, I am just sharing my story. I believe that tomorrow will be better than today. God will not leave me.
