The Diary Game: Hard Work at The Site and Evening Football

I welcome you to my diary, I'm @dotman777. I'll be sharing how I spent my day, from home to the yard and to the construction site back to the yard. Actually today's activities wasn't that difficult but it needed strength and calculations.

I woke up before 5am and started the day with my quiet time, I prayed to God, appreciate Him for what He's done and what He will do and also ask for God's protection in all that concern me and my family. I went to brush my teeth and also swept my room. After that I started cooking, I cooked rice and ate with egusi soup, it took me close to an hour to finish cooking. As I was cooking I was also arranging all what I needed in the site with all the time I used to arrange you won't believe that I left my socks behind. It was when I needed it in the site I remembered that I left it at home, it was so painful though.

I went to the yard as always because it's mandatory to go to yard every morning to sign and request for what you need for the day's activities. We took all our instruments into the car and headed to the construction site. The construction site was busy today with heavy machines working tirelessly to meet their daily targets. Including the subcontractors staff, the security personnel, safety personnel were on duties to make sure everything goes well.

We setup our surveying instrument as usual, bounded our GPS and started working. Luckily today, we used the abney instrument to measure the level of the batters, the leveling instrument was set to 27 degree. We worked on batters all through using the instrument, carpenter hammer, nails and peg. We worked till the end of the batters where we stopped working for the day. We then went to relax till closing hour since there's nothing to do anymore.

When I was sitting I remembered I have flyers to print, I headed to a computer centre and printed them out, on my way I trekked, the journey to and fro is about four kilometres because I haven't been to where I went today before then I got there and asked for the price which was suitable for me, I printed the flyers and left after an hour. Fortunately while I was going back, there was this cyclist that waited and said he'd help me to the next junction, I sat down and alighted at the said junction and made my way back to my destination where my colleagues relaxed.

We were there till closing hour, and the jeep took us back to the yard. Are you surprised? Yeah, there two jeeps and a bus for the staff of the company we work for. I do follow any available vehicle to both yard and site. On our way home were policemen standing on each checking point and did their jobs though they didn't stop us because they recognise all our vehicles in which the company's emblem attached to each vehicle, we got to the yard peacefully and I signed out for the day.

When I got back home I was tired and I needed to bath, I did then I warmed the remaining rice then I ate it with meat. Presently, I'm planning to watch the match between Manchester United and Brighton in the Carabao cup with hope of Manchester United getting the victory.
