The Diary Game:1st September,2026.A Busy Tuesday in the life of a first time mom.

Hi bestie,good day and how you guys doing today? It's your girl Nhancie and I will be giving you a sneak peek on how my day went as a first time mom.

I woke up so tired and exhausted due to the stress of last night and I head straight to the bathroom for a morning shower , then it went straight to feeding my baby. There’s something so quiet and sacred about those early feeds.

After that, bath time for my little one. The splashing, the soft towels, the way they look at you like you’re their whole world. It’s exhausting and beautiful at the same time.
After dressing him , I went to the kitchen to make breakfast for me and my husband. Trying to eat something warm before the day runs away from me has become my own small win.

Later I sat down to loose my cornrow that I've had on my head for three weeks and I comb my hair… and that’s when it hit me. So much hair coming out. Postpartum shed is no joke 💔 I used to have really long hair, and seeing it fall out in clumps made me pause. Some days it feels like my body is changing faster than my heart can catch up.

Once baby was finally down for a nap, I used that quiet window to wash clothes. Piles and piles of tinyclothes,socks and beebs after which I proceeded to dry outside. After washing and drying my baby was still sleeping and I use the opportunity to sleep too after all body no be fire wood 😂😂😂. After napping for one hour I woke up and just because I'm missing my baby I carried him up while still sleeping.

In the evening hubby returned back from work and I quickly rush to get some groceries at a nearby shop and also start discussing with hubby on what to cook because at the moment my head was blank and I was unable to figure out what to eat for dinner and before the dinner I drank some garium sulphate (garri)😁

Finally dinner was ready and I made some puff which we took along with chilled coke , made my baby his cereal and I fed him. Bathe my baby and I pet him to sleep and after that I watch a one hour movie on YouTube before retiring to bed.
