As soon as I entered Firoza Supermarket No. 137 in Manikdi Bazar, the busiest area of ​​Dhaka City, I saw a familiar and very familiar face—my cousin and best friend Shamim's shop, Easy Touch Computer & Stationery. To me, it is not just an ordinary shop, but a trusted name for daily digital services and educational materials for students, teachers, and the common people of our Manikdi area. Today, I will share Shamim's entrepreneurial story with you.

1. Why did you choose this place, person, or event, and what makes it special or important?

Although there are numerous shops in Manikdi Bazar, the reason why I chose Easy Touch Computer and Stationery is very special.

Firstly, the owner of the shop, Mohammad Shamim Hasan, is my childhood friend and my cousin. I have seen firsthand how Shamim, without wasting any time after completing his HSC exams, has built this company with his talent. Recently, he has started retailing all kinds of library materials through business partnerships, which, in my opinion, has increased the importance of the shop many times over.

Secondly, I think that there is no other place in Manikdi Bazar where so many types of digital services are available under one roof. Here, A4, A3, and legal-size photocopies; high-quality scans; color prints; any job application; passport form filling; police clearance; e-TIN certificate (TIN); and tax return file processing are done. Even train tickets and electricity meter applications can be done. As far as I know, teachers at schools and madrasas in the area rely the most on Shamim to print confidential exam question papers.

2. What interesting things did you observe or learn during your visit or experience?

After spending some time in the store, the things I found most interesting were the following:

Beautiful product arrangement: I really like Shamim's aesthetic choice. He has beautifully arranged colorful capybara- and cat-shaped double-headed highlighters for students, fancy car-design and Avengers-themed geometry boxes, and cute dinosaur and kiwi fruit sharpeners in glass cabinets.

Good collection of books: In my opinion, customers benefit a lot by not being limited to just stationery but also having rhyme books, story books, HSC test papers, and guidebooks for children.

Patient attitude: During my work in the shop, I noticed that when an elderly or less understanding person comes for an electricity meter application or online work, Shamim explains the tasks with a smile and patience. I found Shamim's extreme professionalism and humane behavior the most instructive.

3. Can you share your personal experience and explain how this place, person, or event inspired or benefited you?

My relationship with Shamim dates back to my childhood. When other young people were lost in their careers after their HSC exams, I witnessed Shamim's entire journey from zero to setting up such a wonderful digital and stationery hub in Manikdi Bazar today.

Personally, I needed some online document processing and new photos, which Shamim did perfectly in no time. However, for me, the inspiration I got from watching Shamim's journey was a greater achievement than the work. I think that goodwill and dedication to work are much more important than age to build your career. Shamim has proven that it is possible to become a successful entrepreneur at any age if you have honesty and technical knowledge.

4. What message or lesson would you like viewers to take away from your video vlog?

The message I want to convey to the audience through this post and blog is: True freedom lies in acquiring skills and initiative.

In my opinion, many young people in our country waste their time chasing just one job after completing their education. But like Shamim, if you learn small IT or technical tasks after passing HSC and take initiative, it will not only eliminate your own unemployment but also reduce the daily suffering of other people in society. I believe that with hard work and talent, every young person in our country can become a successful entrepreneur like Shamim.
